Police hunt for driver of taxi used by Chinese man found dead

Police are checking security cameras for clues as to the identity of the driver of a taxi used by a Chinese man last Tuesday night before his body was found in a Bangkok canal on the following morning.

Doctors diagnose an alleged scam among colleagues in tour agency scheme

Baht expected to strengthen to 21-month high

The baht is expected to range between 34.10 and 34.45 per US dollar this week after US President Donald Trump said the greenback was stronger than he had estimated and that the Federal Reserve should maintain its benchmark interest rate at current levels, according to the Bank of Ayudhya.

Less trash during Songkran festival this year

Bangkok generated 10 percent less garbage during the April 13-15 Songkran festival averaging 8,000 tonnes a day instead of 10,000 tonnes partly because of increased public awareness with environment problem, said City Clerk Pattharut Tattranont on Monday.
