90 day report today (2017-04-19) Samui

Featured Replies

Hi All

As I posted on my first two...

I did a 90 day report today, and it took about 15 minutes. Further, five of those minutes were waiting on an old lady filling in forms at the initial desk!

I still hesitate to say it, but it looks like they have gotten their act together. I only needed my passport with the previous slip. No photos, forms, etc.

FYI it was quiet; I would guess that there were about 30 people there doing a variety of things.

Cheers

I did my 90 days report to day, I get my passport back in...5 minutes yes fives minutes,

My watch, an automatic had stopped . When I sat downn to wait, I looked at their clock on the wall 11h51, I restarted my watch, when they called my number it was 11h 56.

First I thought they needed to ask my something, no they gave my passport back.

To give my passport I did not wait more tha 2/3 minutes so alltogether I did stayed inside a little less than 10 minutes...my own record in five years !

  • 1 month later...

My date is 7 june.
Do you guys know how long after we can make it ???
With the rain these days, i am not very sure i will take boat from phangan and make the trip to immigration.

You're on!

Without meaning to sound rude, this thread would be more appropriate if someone actually had a problem with their 90 day report because the Immigration Office has had the waiting time down to fifteen minutes for ages already.  You can expect to be out in fifteen minutes as opposed to thinking you have had a piece of good fortune.

You are correct.

But, if expats couldn't complain about immigration anymore, it'd likely tear the time/space continuum and end reality as we know it.

Shudder!

Very true but theres still a lot to complain about, 90 day reporting being the anomaly!!

Agrred but still dependent on how busy they are. Right now in and out, no need to grab a seat but over the high season it can drag out a bit.

There's a fast track lane for extensions, on left line directly a head of the door as you enter...  last time I did mine, it was full of mainly tourists, using  different lines...

I was still out within 15 minutes...

They have now put the sign above where you can see it... so not so confusing now!

Don't forget the electricity cuts

Did mine finally this morning.
Was in at 8h43 am, out at 9h05 am....
Must say there was only 2 people in front of me.
When i have been last time on March, a friday (my mistake) all the immigration was totally packed of people : In at 09h00 am out at almost 11h30.
There is two lane :
-Short extension - 30/7 days (right lane)

-Long term extension - 1 year (left Lane)
I think they should add a third lane for 90 day report, coz its take us-them 10 secondes to proceed the thing and when its fully packed of people, its really very very annoying to be oblige to make the queue for hour, just for 10 secondes....

Must add that coming from koh pha ngan, the cost of this nonsense... About 650 baths all include !.....
And the time (i have it all, but) leave home at 6h30 am, back home at 01h30 pm....
