Featured Replies

my branch is in hau hin,  i am in pattaya ,  when i make withdrawals im charged 15 baht per time.  i want to change banks so can i go to south pattaya branch  an make the change ?

also internet banking, do i need visit my home branch to set this up

cheers

For most changes you will need to go the branch you opened the account. Having said that, this is Thailand and anything can happen, go and ask at your local branch  thats the only sure way to know.

From previous reading I learned that moving an account (keeping the no.) is not possible.

Makes sense as the account no. still identifies the branch.

So you have to close the Hua Hin account and open a new account in Pattaya.

Ask in Pattaya how to properly close the old account.

When opening a new account just ask for internet access.

Years ago there was never a problem with Kasikorn.

(I recommend the branch at Royal Garden, 1st floor)

Do not close your old account before making absolutely sure you will be allowed to open  the new one. This is not a formality despite the fact that you have already got a Kasikorn account.

Depending on your visa/extension/residency status you may well be refused the new account as each branch has its own operating procedures.
