Canadian police investigate Facebook beating video in murder case

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (Reuters) - Canadian police said on Wednesday they were investigating whether a beating captured on video, reported to have been distributed through social networking site Facebook Inc, may be connected to a young woman's murder.

Nonthaburi teacher wins Princess Maha Chakri Award

BANGKOK: -- A Nonthaburi school teacher, Jirat Jaemsawang, who pioneered the use of information and communications technology for teaching in Thailand in 1985, is the winner of this year’s Princess Maha Chakri Award, while a non-formal education teacher, Narumon Kaewsom, from Tak province and a music teacher Saran Srimareung from Nakhon Ratchasima province won the “Khunakorn” awards for finalists.
