Extending Non O based on marriage

Recommended Posts

Hopefully a straightforward question:

I take it there has been no change in requirements for a extending a Non O?

I changed my extension from retirement to marriage last year. I have all the documents previously required, but just thought I'd double check

Thanks,

No changes that I know of unless your local office has something new they want.

Sorry, forgot to volunteer that info. I come under Udon Thani immigration, they've always been pretty reasonable in the past.

I have seen no reports of anything more being needed there.

There is a new TM7 form. Fillable TM7 form.pdf

Thanks for the info about that.

I've just downloaded it in case, although I have in the past managed to fill in the previous pdf using Acrobat Reader DC, so I'll only have to changed the date on that saved form, as it's the only data that's different.

You can download this new form also and complete with reader also. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/form_tm7.pdf

Compare the old and new form and you will see there are differences,

You're correct, as always Joe.

Although the only differences I can see are:

On the line in Thai is followed in English by
"I hereby apply for extension period of temporary stay in the Kingdom for.....days", I see there are spaces on the Thai and English lines to enter the number of days, originally the spaces were only on the Thai text line.

Additional wording:
Applicant must submit the application in person "with the exception of handicapped patients or persons with disabilities."

The original text: "Application fee is 1900 Baht" is not on the new form.

Have I missed anything else of relevance?
