Non-o for retirement visa from Vientiane

Non-o for retirement visa from Vientiane..

I am looking to obtain a Non-o for retirement visa multi entry,  without returning to UK. which I then want to convert to a full retirement visa.

I am told this is not possible to do in Thailand it has to be from home country or a country outside of Thailand, I have been told this is possible from Vientiane. I am not married to a Thai, I have the required funds.

  1. Do I need to have the income proof verified by an embassy before I submit. ( monthly pay slips)
  2. Can I just show my bank account on line on my phone App as proof. or copies on ipad
  3. Does all funds have to be all in Thai baht

any experiences would be greatly appreciated

Cannot get multi entry Non-O (O-A) outside of your country of residence. You can get Non-O 90 day in Laos, then extend yearly inside of Thailand. You then can buy multi re-entry permit to effectively have multi entry for the duration of your permission to stay (yearly)

Vientiane does not issue multiple entry visas.

You can get a single entry non-o at a embassy or consulate for being 50 or over and then apply for an extension of stay based upon retirement an immigration office. You can also convert from a tourist visa to a 90 day non immigrant visa (category O) at some immigration office.

You need 800k baht in a Thai bank or proof of 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht.
