Loved "Dazed and Confused" - the movie. The song was pretty good too. 

 

The TV show "Freaks and Geeks" was good, but a few years after my time as there were way more freaks than my first years in high school.

 

When I went into 8th grade, there was only one or two guys with long hair and tons of old style rednecks. It started changing quickly after that and most of the rednecks grew their hair and started taking drugs.

I was the first person that I knew who took drugs. I started with acid I got from someone's big brother that was in college. It was a few months later that my friends started smoking pot and then pretty much everyone was. 

Long hair doesn't or didn't necessarily mean redneck.
