iPad mal-functioning

Featured Replies

Bought an iPad 18 months ago.

Got 1 year warranty.

The colour is now really messed up. (colour images / photos have a kind of "solar" effect)

Took the iPad back to the Apple store where it was purchased, Central, in Pattaya.

Because out of warranty, refused to address the matter.

All they said was we can sell you a new iPad at 1/2 price in exchange for the mal-functioning iPad, but only give a 90 day warranty with it.

So, I ask Forum Members if have any suggestions where I can get my iPad fixed.

There is a place

Pass along the Soi left hand side of Tuk.com

take Soi left hand side towards Tuk.coms multi storey car park (3rd left I think)

the shop is located opposite the end of this Soi, before turning right towards the entrance of the car park

they replaced the speakers in my i-pad.....all working well and reasonable

TukCom 2nd floor, prices starting 3,000THB for a new screen.

Actually they probably don't even need to replace the screen as possibly it's only some (yellow?) colored wire that connects the screen with the printplate or so (check google about your problem, it might lead you to some youtube clip explaining this problem) but in these shops in TukCom they find it easier (and more rewarding) to rather change too much than find the cause by trial and error.
