Bow your head with great respect
Indeed Mike, fair point. There is a reason for this. Whilst I have the utmost respect for Indian Philosophy and Buddhism, surely among the deepest products of the human mind in all our history, with Hinduism I have to say it is just too alien to me. Whilst the Vedas, Upanishads and Baghavad Gita make interesting reading, as does rebirth, the various deities just don't do it for me. It doesn't even seem like a religion, but more like contradictory custom and beliefs. So I left it out for that reason, not something I could subscribe to. -

With many people, once they got attached to a theory, it was hard to get them detached. They’d screen out unhelpful facts, invent favorable ones, and ignore contradictions in their own claims. Look at those Sandy Hook, multiple fraud convictions, and Jan. 6th truthers, babbling about false flags and crisis actors and all the rest. When people were motivated enough to believe something, they were going to believe it no matter what. There was no such thing as a bridge too far. That most certainly applies to Trump a hundred fold. -

Exactly. Trump's autocratic tendencies are very indicative of his hatred of democracy and open and free speech, so what does that say about his continued support? -

Are young farangs out of control?
There was a young boy in a gogo bar once. He put his hands on his eyes as he walked by the stage. It was funny. The Thais are pragmatic. They understand this industry brings in cash. And I'm not saying it needs to be banned because of the kids. But neither can you avoid coming into contact with the adult scene as the previous poster suggested.
