Dead body found washed up on Pattaya Beach

By Online Admin

At around 6:30am on May 25th, Pattaya police and emergency services after a dead body had been spotted washed up on Pattaya Beach, right opposite Soi 10.

The body belonged to a 26 year old Thai man, named Chaiya Hompa.

Medical services rushed to the body and attempted emergency CPR, but it was far too late as the victim had sadly passed away for too long already.

The body was very stiff and it was obvious that it had been washed up onto the sand by the waves. No injuries were found on the body.

The girlfriend of the victim was also at the scene. She told police that she and her boyfriend had gone out to the beach the previous night and had been enjoying a few drinks with friends.

And so sadly, another person has discovered that trying to swim, fully clothed (which most of them do, even during the day), whilst drunk, is dangerous.

RIP to the young man, but this was totally avoidable, if anyone in the group had possessed the slightest level of common sense.

RIP , was it necessary to post a pic of the full corpse ?

It would seem it's absolutely essential in the Thai media.

The body conveniently washed up right near the Pattaya police station.

No, but if it shocks people into not doing what he did it was worth it. Do you complain about the photos on Cigarette packets ?

How long does it take for rigor mortis to set in? Four to six hours? And how long for a body to become "very stiff"? At 6.30 in the morning after having been out drinking, which you would presume went on till late, his body is washed up on the beach "very stiff".

"The body belonged to ... ". I wonder if he'll get it repaired or just buy a new one with t he insurance money.

hmmm......so CPR was given to the body stiff with rigor mortis ?

Yes....maybe there's some other meaning in performing CPR to a rigor corpse!
