Looking for volunteering / internship at a farm in July

CLW

Recommended Posts

I have semester break at the moment and a lot of free time.

I'm looking for any place related to farming where I can stay for a while working in exchange for free accommodation and food.

To my background, I have diploma in civil engineering and just graduated my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in Thailand.

I can also cook very well, Thai and western food.

Awaiting your replies

Best regards

Congratulations @CLW, I'm sure you'll get loads of offers.

If not, I've got a load of land drains to go in, rubber to prune, bananas to weed and feed and a crayfish pond to finish off, plus around 60 trees to put in.....

.....

PM sent

Offer made

No response (typical student)

Don't waste your time with this guy.

CLW offer withdrawn.

Sad to hear this.

Living in Thailand and such impatient.

Being quiet doesn't mean I'm not interested.

I just had to figure out more important stuff about my further study before I can tell you a fixed date.

Don't worry, I probably find a Thai farm whose owner is more patient

I assume you are Thai?

This makes me sad.

The natural response to my PM would have been something like:

''Hi Mark,

Thanks for the offer. I have had several replies and am considering my options.

Kind regards

@CLW''

I'm not Thai but living long enough here to have adapted a relaxed lifestyle.
Anyway, I don't want to make a big thing of this.
Just forget it, I don't come. And that's all.
Looking forward to discussions on the farming section on here

@CLW, that's OK mate. Most of the guys on the farming forum are pretty relaxed and I'm sure you'll get another offer from someone.

Good luck & regards,

Mark
