Do you remember where? I thought an alternative would be to get TW to put her Thai craft skills to work and make some palm frond pots, would probably dissolve a lot slower but might suffice.

I found similar pots make from coconut fiber at a nursery just outside Korat city. I've only ever seen them once here.

It's the new nursery opposite "Saifai" nursery on the Korat/Udonthani road. At ฿12 / pot I thought they were a wee bit pricy. I'm surprised there aren't more places here offering them. 

I usually bring back a stack of them from my annual holiday back home.
