I am the same guy that lost his dog for 6 months and never stopped looking for her, she was a bit confused when she came back, also when she came back, she was blind. So yes she is different to the  extent that i have to guide her where she goes.The word,that you mention is 'if' if is a big word.As you should know, Thai people are in the habit of making all sorts of promises when they want something. But when they get it, they take it as a given, and dont think they have to give anything back.EG our illustrious leader for one. Also the ridiculous statements about telling the world about the cures for Ebola and HIV.

So no, i dont think the question of them being different is a possibility, until proved.The guy might make the effort and may have changed somewhat, but the girl will soon change back again. It's their nature.
