A 26 year old Chinese parachutist was injured in Sri Racha after being caught in a swirling wind near his landing spot at a local airstrip.

Sri Racha foundation medics administered to Deyuan Wang near the Nong Khor reservoir in Nong Kham sub-district.

He had facial injuries and a bone protruding from his left elbow.

Pattaya News reported that as he was about ten metres from the ground a high wind resulted in his parachute getting wrapped around him causing his to be propelled hard into the ground.

He was taken to hospital after treatment at the scene on Monday afternoon.
