Krungsri adds real-time global funds transfer service

Approved by the Bank of Thailand, Krungsri (Bank of Ayudhya Pcl.) has developed financial innovations under the Regulatory Sandbox guidelines and becomes the first bank in Thailand to introduce a real-time global funds transfer service based on the Blockchain’s Interledger technology for the business and industry sector.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - A U.S. warship sailed near a disputed island in the South China Sea claimed by China, Taiwan and Vietnam on Sunday in an operation meant to challenge the competing claims of all three nations, a U.S. Defense Department official said.

FPO expects 500-600,000 not to make cut for welfare

Nurse training program launched to deal with ageing society issue

BANGKOK: -- As Thailand in 2018 will officially become an ageing society with the number of elderly people accounting for one-fifth of population and exceeding the country’s child population, the Supreme Patriarch Nyanasanwara Geriatric Medicine Institute on Monday launched a short training program to equip 150 nurses with the skills required to treat the elderly.
