I was going to reply to a poster in the "Looking for a New Dash Cam. Any recommendation?" by clicking on "quote this" to bring it into the reply box.

 

I then changed my mind and wanted to reply to a different poster but could see  no way of deleting the original quote from the box.

 

Managed to delete the message in the quote but the original poster is still showing. Tried refreshing the page but the message is still there.

 

 

You need to hover your mouse over the quote in its upper left hand corner which will highlight/outlined it....then you can hit delete, drag it around, do whatever with it..   That's how I do it all the time.

Sevaral ways work;-

 

• Hover over the quote and click, then hit delete
• Just keep backspacing
• Backspace until it highlights then hit delete
