WIFI Contract True Vision

Hi everyone, I signed a contract with true vision on a package deal for wifi, cable and phone! All for B799 per month. At the time l added an extra for cable the family package for B299. Total cost B1098+vat! That was 7 months ago and in the 7 months since not once was I billed the above amount! My average billing cost per month has been around B1500! The billing invoices are set up in a way that it's impossible to comprehend what you are billed for and I feel it's very close to scamming us farangs! I complained and argued about their billing process to no avail! Now I want out and they tell me I am obliged by a contract for 12 months. I just want to bring them their router and tv box and to hell with them, just walk out and not pay anything! I ask myself what would be the repercussions of such an action, what can they legally do to me has a foreigner! I would appreciate any helpful and constructive comments on this!

I would suggest you to go to nearest True shop to get detailed explanation on the billing.

Only 3 months before you get satisfaction. Don't let them get to you. 

 

The poor guy pictured below spent 3 years trying to get a sensible reply from True.

Bills are the same format for Thai's and farangs and all you need to do is get a Thai speaker/reader to explain the headings and what they mean. Whilst not the most transparent format you can normally work them out.

 

My guess is the reason your bills are higher than the "package" amount is that you (or someone) is using more of your calls/data then was included in the package price? Either that or one or more constituent parts are priced wrong.

 

If it is beyond you then perhaps you could try posting a scan of the bill (front and back) and someone may be able to make sense of it for you..............

Topt thank you for your constructive comments. I have been explained by the True people that my package involves 2 companies within True and each have different billing periods which are combined into one! Any which way you look at the billing I feel I am getting screwed! My average billing for 7 months has been B1500 while it should not be no more then B1175! I am moving at the end of this month and I am quitting their contract and True vision forever...they are not a nice company to farangs!

I am on a similar contract to you it seems.

 

Start by reading the break-up of charges on the back of your bill.

 

Mine for example is 799 baht +VAT @7% 55.93 baht, for internet.

The section for phone calls and data is 0 baht because we never use it. 

 

Front page of the bill is 854.93 + 299 baht for the cable package, total 1,153.93

 

Sounds like any extra charges are for phone calls and data you or someone in your household is using.
