    Trump looks dead in the water. Another rambling demented speech yesterday, and half the crowd walked out while he was still speaking. He has to attack Harris on being unknown and lacking any experience....lack any achievement whatsoever ever, screwing up the border and keep hammering these points. And Walz is a liar and a coward.....say it 300 times a speech, get the message across.

    Humans are omnivores. We can cope with a few parasites or bacteria in our food. Indeed, It's good for the immune system.

    I eat lots of sashimi. Salmon is one of my favourites with ponzu sauce and daikon. In 40 years of eating the stuff, I haven't had a problem. Like many other commenters I won't eat sushi/sashimi in a Thai restaurant, or sad to say, from the market where I see it out from 4 pm until 8 pm or so without refrigeration and loaded with mayonnaise. It makes me feel sick to see it sitting there.

    Women much smarter. If I were setting a business up in Thailand I would hire only female employees. A large proportion of men seem to be very dull and have a stupid attitude. I never for instance go into a supermarket queue where the cashier is male. It takes males twice as long to check out a basket of goods as female. Perhaps it is not ability, but attitude.

    Important: I am under the impression that you must spend less than 180 days ie 179 days or part thereof at the most.

    The insanity of Thai legislators doesn't help when understanding important changes that are announced with fanfare. Seems to me that when you change the rules, you should make an announcement when all the details have been ironed out.

    Probably because he's a son-of-a-*****. But he's our son-of-a-*****, as they say. The country didn't fall apart when he was President last time so there is no reason why it should fall apart this time. FFS we have had a dementia patient as President for nearly 4 years and the deep state made all the decisions for the puppet.

    I've read all of David Mitchell's books. Amazing stuff. This particular one is my least favourite. Cloud Atlas and Bone Clocks are him at his very best I think.

    I might be wrong, but I have always been under the impression that it is illegal to bring gold bullion across borders. I am not sure whether coins are legally regarded as currency or bullion. You might try a pawn shop.

    Who or what is Thailand? Can someone stand up at a conference like Karndee, and announce to the world that Thailand will become a hub of talent, and it becomes government policy? Who voted for this hub? Who in government endorsed it? Did the Senate vote to approved it? etc etc. Am I the only one in Thailand to find these hubs with be fantastical ie never to become reality?

    Maybe there will be a huge surge in sales as Thailand becomes the hub of EV cars, and Tesla will be begging to be allowed to invest in Thailand.

    All sounds great until you learn that a load of lying politicians, bureaucrats and businessmen will be the ones establishing what truth is and what fake is. A spoiler: they will tell you the Truth is what they say but will not tell you that they get a payoff i.e it enhances them in some way, financially or reputationally, career wise. Fake will be whatever anyone says who challenges them.

    I don't use them. Too time consuming and adding almost zero value vs calling direct. I saved 5000 baht last week on a business class airfare to Tokyo by calling the airline vs using Skyscanner. If I want a hotel....I scout them out on Agoda or wherever, and then search for the phone number of the one I like and call it direct.
