The Constitution at fault or what?
retarius replied to Thailand's topic in US & Canada Topics and Events
So it is not against the Constitution for DJT to run and become president and it was foreseen by the founding fathers that this might happen? I'm only guessing mind since justice in America "is a game" (said Bob Dylan, but it would seem that if the SCOTUS is bound to uphold the Constitution then they should let DJT run without any undue hindrance from politically motivated law suits eg corrupt Fani's suit. I hope this is true, for many reasons, and hope it happens soon. I suspect the SCOTUS will be 6-3 on the issue, for DJT running, unsurprisingly. The main reason though is that America will hasten rapidly on its downhill path in a very ugly mood if DJT is prohibited from campaigning and running in the presidential race. The nation is split, pretty much evenly and there are millions of Trump supporters who will be both armed and very unhappy. I'm really glad I left the US all those years ago....it has become a really ugly place. -

Jury finds Donald Trump sexually abused E. Jean Carroll in civil case
retarius replied to Scott's topic in World News
I've written before on another thread, that I don't see E Jean Carroll in the frame for being attended to by DJT. She is no looker now and wasn't when the incident was supposed to have occurred. These he said, she said cases are ridiculous. Juries need actual evidence, and some cases don't have them. When you have no evidence in a bodily harm or robbery, you don't being a prosecution. Selective justice, as in the US pursuit of Trump, is injustice. -

You might trade and offer to give her advanced English lessons for (presumably, you being a genius and all) advanced Thai lessons. -
Thaksin and digital wallet can converge to form political tsunami
retarius replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
I don't know about it being a national disaster. The US gives plenty of money away to its citizens to stimulate the economy and massage the numbers....they call it helicopter money. But Thailand was always be a much lower debt nation and that gives a sense of security that high debt just doesn't. Prayut's profligacy has severely damaged the economic security of the nation, and we need a time to pause and get the economy back on track now that the junta idiots are out of the way. Borrowing 500 billion baht to spend on stupid scheme that will not do anything for the economy is stupid...far worse stupidity than targeted interventions or infrastructure projects. And why make it so expensive using a high tech solution where one is not needed, and why exclude millions of rural poor who live more than 4kms away from shops???? Poor people spend money and so to include them is a better way to stimulate the economy. -
No I don't care what Trump's done.... Selective justice is injustice. Biden's a senile old fool who should be in a nursing home.... He has politicised the country in a way never before seen, including the FBI, CIA, and DOJ. Frankly if Hitler were standing against the evil Biden, I've vote for the lesser of two evils and vote for Hitler, hoping he'd be better this time. To be honest, I'm sick of old men in politics and would suggest that one should have to be under 70 on the Election Day to run in it.....not that Biden's able to run, of course, he'd probably fall over, and he certainly won't debate anyone. If someone conservative and not into pandering to gays and trannies and who believes your true gender is the same sex you were born with, I'd vote for them provided that they were not a warmonger. Trump's only real appeal for me is his stance on wars. He tells too many lies, as well. But Biden and his ilk are addicted to war, never-ending war, and it is vile and evil and America has become a force for evil because of its constant warmongering. No excuses here, they make war because it is profitable, and they are hypocrites because they pretend they are for peace while they fund eternal wars and proxy wars. The other truly great thing about Trump is that he will stop sending money to that vile regime in Ukraine, although he will keep sending money to Israel the other cancer on the face of the earth, although I suspect that Trump's zionism might be fading now he doesn't have to impress Ivanka with his zionism, and she looks like she is ditching her zionist and becoming Christian again. But if the Dems would put up an anti-tranny, anti DEI, anti-reparations candidate who would really stop starting wars and stop supporting Israel, I would vote for them over Trump. I am looking for a candidate to Make America Great Again which means a commitment to morals, decency and integrity. Sadly Trump looks like the nearest candidate at the moment.

Anyone who challenges the received wisdom of the day is considered controversial. No one will meet the guy in debate because he has actually studied the data and knows the results.

First Batch Of 2,000 Cattle Being Exported To Vietnam

I try not to eat any beef here because it is always so horribly hard and endlessly chewy, and that goes for Aussie and NZ beef too. My wife very occasionally gets an inner fillet at the market. Most of this cut is sold to restaurants, so most of the time it is not available but the smallholder knows my wife likes it so buys it when it is available. Even that is lacklustre. Even so called Wagyu beef is awful here. On the upside the pork is fantastic I think and the chicken and duck are ok. -
Netanyahu publicly rejects US push for Palestinian state
retarius replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
Total BS nonsense. What other war has required too total annihilation of your enemy before making a lasting peace. Did Russia adopt that attitude when it defeated Hitler's Germany? No, it made peace despite the atrocities committed by the Nazis. And by the way, collective punishment is a war crime. -
Netanyahu publicly rejects US push for Palestinian state
retarius replied to CharlieH's topic in The War in Israel
He just murdered 25000 Palestinians, he's evil, not 'bad enough'. And the difference between him and Hitler is only one of scale, his racist views on subhuman Palestinians is exactly the same as Hitler's. I suppose you are cheering him on? -

Isn't there an airport in Buriram you could fly from? It's a long way in a minibus or coach.

I used to mail meds from here to the US when my son lost his job and insurance. He needed Nasonex which cost him $90 per nasal inhaler. At the time you could but it here for about $7 dollars. I had no problems at all. I gave the meds into the PO here each time and they packaged it and I sent it EMS (I think) so sending 3 inhalers saved a good deal of money. Never had the package opened in the US, and never lost a package either....put on the package declaration they were medicines value $21. No duties payable either.
