  1. For me it has very much been about shade and getting out of the hot sun........
  2. Yes, very much more the point. How any years prior did they actually not give a shxt about the 'people with disabilities'.........
  3. As are samlors, baht busses, food carts etc etc. TBH I am surprised there are not more incidents.
  4. No good turn goes unpunished!
  5. Use a little imagination and think of envelopes!
  6. You are probably right.... but as an occasional motorcycle rider, keeping left, the rule seems to be bigger vehicles can turn when it is not clear.
  7. I could not possibly imagine a more convenient journey than traveling with a small back pack, to stroll across Thrappaya from VT 5, or from VT 1 or2 to get on a large coach to the airport. But sadly I do not live there, and don't want to get to the airport already sweated up.
  8. Or the rapid deceleration!
  9. I had one stopped on Sukhumvit right in front of the restaurant car park entrance I wanted to use the other day. Talk about dopey!
  10. It does seem odd to put it in the 'Pattaya News' section when we have 'Southern Thailand' or a more general 'Thailand News'..... options.
  11. Please don't presume to speak on my behalf. Accidents and incidents are all news.
  12. Anybody in need of a taxi has learned otherwise by now!
  13. Be fair, it may not be matter of fitness.
  14. With better odds!
  15. Traffic pulling out against a red light making a left turn is very common at many Sukhumvit junctions. The tourist coaches are a major offender. The North Rd junction is a good example.
  16. The cynic in me suspects the water was critical to keep the tourists coming.......
  17. Or perhaps doing it before work to promote a good night's sleep.
  18. More astounded to read the locals abide by the laws! Really?
  19. You initially asked for someone who cannot ride a motorcycle...... this second question contradicts that but here I go anyhow. Beyond the initial cost of buying a small motorcycle, it is really cheap to run one, and would save you a lot on Grab/Bolt/Win rides, and is a phenomenal convenience for getting around. Leave it at home when drinking though.
  20. https://maps.app.goo.gl/mz4ieXHecrZ7de517
  21. So they are wasting their time going to gyms?
  22. Did he perhaps order some food?
  23. I can't turn mine off......more a question of whether the lights were working.
  24. Very few Thai owned ones have more than a few thimblefuls of fuel in them at any one time.
