  1. And if he needs to verify at any point in the future on the registered mobile number...........
  2. A number of people above don't seem to have any issues and I think you will find the number of world wide users runs into the many millions..... Using an email from your provider - I presume you mean your isp.........First off didn't even know True/AIS/etc offered email addresses. Secondly even in Europe for example do you want to be locked into your current isp email when you change provider....... Are gmail addresses similarly not accepted............ Not sure if you are American (know nothing about their "providers") but I don't understand when people state stuff as if it is an unalterable fact of life when often it is just a myopic view of their own very limited experience......
  3. Well the post 2 above yours and the one below it would seem to differ......... Just because Mont Clair hasn't changed doesn't mean others haven't. No one claimed, or I certainly didn't, that it was all wines.
  4. Just wanting to understand are you saying that you gave this info to some random Lazada seller - Or does it go directly to the actual service provider?
  5. So having read on another forum I ended up at the same guy I used to restick a trainer sole a few months ago as it was suggested he was one of the original guys from the Soi Buakhow/Lengkee resto area. I confess I did not make the effort to go and have a look there. No idea if he is or isn't but quoted 300 baht for rubber soles and heels. Just picked them up and he seems to have done a good job........ Location - Pattaya Klang, south bound on the left opposite the Royal Century Hotel turn in. Tucked in next to some MC taxi guys with 2 closed shops metal shutters behind him. He was stitching up a pair of casual shoes when I was there.
  6. From the article - I believe that was before the ceasefire?
  7. Took me a while to realise that "makeup" classes in this article has nothing to do with teaching the application of cosmetics..........
  8. Depending on a number of factors it may possibly help with IHT - IE avoiding any which may otherwise be potentially payable.
  9. Mu understanding (unless it changed recently?) is that you can only contribute the amounts you mention for for a SIPP for 5 years after becoming non-resident for tax?
  10. Kudos to them for actually making a start - parking enforcement is another issue as you say Considering how relatively few footpaths/actual pavements Pattaya has I just wish they would do something similar for what there is. It might get more people to use them rather then wandering along in the middle of the road which I see more and more even where there are pavements.
  11. Considering how often we read this it does not seem to be much of an example. Am I correct in thinking if they change the venue name and or company name they can reopen and ignore the 5 years which was implied in another case recently?
  12. Not what I meant but I can see how you may have taken it that way.
  13. I am just surprised we don't here about this sort of thing more often from any of the phone sellers/repairers.
  14. Well thanks. Wondering when that got introduced or enforced as I have often quoted phone numbers in the past...... @HappyExpat57 if you need specific details please pm me.
  15. Apart from obvious caveats like minimum age, sound mind etc as long as the witnesses are not also beneficiaries then fine.
  16. @CharlieH Not saying it was you but can I ask why the email and phone number for a business has been removed from my reply?
  17. We even see it on here. Some members post what appears to be a comprehensive answer, and often not saying from Chat GPT or whatever, except when you dig into it sometimes completely wrong............
  18. Thai-Euro Law Office & Advisory Office located in the soi that runs behind Big C on Sukhumvit Rina speaks English and Thai and is wife to the lawyer As mentioned above a simple will should be no more than 10k baht.
  19. Definitely not as many. Unfortunately there is a Chinese owned Muay Thai and BBQ place around the Panied Chang junction and just one bus turning left going south can cause major traffic strife. Not been as much of an issue last few months and just seemed to be less cars in general.
  20. Agreed. I could not believe how early Friday evening how quiet third road down to Klang from Nua was. Normally it is nose to tail at that time.
  21. Thanks I'll go see what they say.
  22. I am guessing this was in Bangkok? Looking for a Pattaya location thanks.
  23. Non resident rule changed 2015/16 hence any increase in value for CGT is only from then so if you had owned for a long period before that and made gains then at least you are saved paying for that bit. And yes before anybody adds it would have been better if it had stayed as was with no CGT for your PPR.
  24. My go to shop on the corner of Soi Buakhow and Soi 21 seems to be permanently shuttered unless they open very infrequently. Can anybody recommend anywhere else?
  25. Perhaps they mean a picture of whatever modem or ONU you have so they can see if it is compatible with the higher speed? You have a separate modem or or combined isp modem/router?
