"a crush of people" what does that really mean, I live in CM and never felt a crush of people, only occasionally a lot of traffic "weird upscale cafes" means what and why does it matter since nobody forces you to go into them, just walk on by if you do not care to partake but all in all I would say Chiang Mai is not suited to you and so please go elsewhere

    never heard of any painting requirements for renewal of road tax it just does not sound right exactly who is that, where does he work, like what office or company

    From Rider's Corner bar go West towards Doi Suthep about 40 meters. Just past the bike shop and before the construction supply shop there is a small shop that sells and repairs that kind of furniture. If you go there and they have moved, let me know and I can give you a second choice.
