No, you get fat from eating too much. Denaturated food is bad but there is no poison that accumulate in the fat like ddt would do. And even if it would accumulate you need about 7000 kcal in excess to build 1kg fat, if you don't consume it, you won't get fat no matter how you poison yourself. After you ate a better diet, you got slim because you ate healthy. -

Ketosis is just a normal burning of ketone bodies which is complete normal and you do the same at fasting. You may confuse it with Ketoacidosis which is pathologic. In colder climate zones we were in ketosis every winter in the stone age as there were no fruits. -

Pork I buy at the moment at 250 Baht/kg on the market....that is already bad, but the vegetable on the market in Bangkok aren't cheap....OK no problem for me, but think for a lower Thai salary. I don't know the 7/11 junk food prices but what my staff buys something on the market (still junk food) is often surprisingly cheap. But I guess market is way cheaper in rural area than in Bangkok (I have seen early morning the market opens packing from Macro supermarket) -
used both...had couple of complains and refund worked for both good

And I rather prefer a lazy, greedy government than some dictatorial that enforce nonsense with all their police power, like in Germany.... I hope that does not change.....But on the air quality something must be done....

There is a burn ban since decades...enforced similar to the helmet mandate of motorbike

Didn't buy for a while, but unless there was a change in the last few month I can only recommend them

that is nonsense....I would not like to eat keto longterm, but you can perfectly do it without harm....It is a natural way for surviving long winters. We don't need carbohydrates. Still it is rather extreme and I wouldn't do it for decades, but it is possible and some people do it -

Now there are several studies out that make that very clear. They do help in making the people who trade it rich. -

Of course the parents are to blame...maybe the education system a little bit too. They feed the children and they are a bad example for them. It is not the job of the government to replace the parents. But you are correct globally the governments and the industry is total corrupt. (Lobbyists, donations, consulting contracts etc., is just putting corruption into some framework that makes it legal....) -

Low fat is if there is no/little fat inside it.....but you get fat from carbohydrates as well (or protein if you tons of it). You don't need to run 10km every day..some moderate exercise would already help.....and on the other hand 10km..what is it 500-1000 kcal. It would not fix every nutrition mistake...yes would help a lot but it is no green light for eating stupid things. -

biggest is most probably CP with the 7/11 fastfood and many of the sweet drinks are Thai (TC Pharmaceutical with the krating deng and 100 other products). The bad influence came from America but it is now a global (un)culture. -

You gain weight from eating too much. But with sugar or easy to digest carbohydrates you get much faster hungry after eating the same kcal...so you eat more. Or the other way around eating more fat is causing a more stable blood sugar without the spikes in both ways. So keeping slim is much easier. Of course fat+sweet is the worst of both. The point is the low fat products are actually making you fat. -
