Report Thailand Plans Exciting Bangkok Street Circuit for F1 in 2028
kingstonkid replied to snoop1130's topic in Bangkok News
The challenge to moving outside of the big three cities is infrastructure. There has to be a nightlife, there has to be a lot of 5 star hotels, There has to be an airport close by. and last but not least, there has to be a fully built paddock for storage of cars and parts. I was in TO when they brought Indy, and it was a headache the first couple of years, but it was fun. The difference was that Toronto already had the CNE, so the traffic issue was minimal, as they paved at night after rush hour. The only location that is close to having what is needed is BURIRAM. But 5-star hotels are an issue as well as getting equipment and people to and from the track. The best location in BKK would be the grand palace, it show cases the history and really does not screw up as much of the traffic of lets say mor chit. -
Politics Anutin Reaffirms Paetongtarn as Official PM Amidst Rumours

That is until chidchob tells him differently -
I agree to a certain extent BUT I think the idea was for him to do it quietly and not piss off the Elite or do things that would cause difficulties like the hospital. Ithink and I have no real knowledge tht the idea was that they would bring him back on the conditon that if he ws going to rule PTP he might as well do it from here versus outside the country. Tht he would come back here serve his prison time. Possibly in jail for a few months then move to house arrest The PTP threw a monkey wrench into it by getting his prison sentence reduced. The Thaksin started doing with what he does best, flouting the agreement and being mouthy. Knowing that the Elite did not have a backup if he went too far. Now tht the country is as always happens when PTP is in charge isin trouble financially and Thaksin is againon his way to jail or worse still, the deal coming out in public, they need to muzzle him and remove the PTP from power. There is no way a coalition survives if you have the PP and BJT on the outside looking in. PP 151 PTP 141 BJT 71 military elite 56 DEM 25 If Thaksin keeps power and BJT leaves, then his coalition will be useless. There is no way the Military Elite is going to help him, and the Democrats, which are the elite, will definitely go where they are told and where they can get the most. Remember, Thaksin just took the government support away from BJT for the Buriram MotoGP and now wants to take that money and build his own F1 track.

Yes but the main reason is they can come here work for a couple of months whie on the 60 day visa go home with lots more money than they would have and then come back when they need more. Besides, even the ardent MacD eater neers to try someting else once in awhile Anyone want to bet thethai national was not of full thai decent and looked Indian. Also willing to bet that they did not do this around the plaza -

Thaksin has been a thorn and paraih to the country as well. Every party his money has buit has been found to be illegal. As to lenient outcome not a chance he has too many elite that he has upset. The people in power want him out of politics. They are going to hammer him this time IF HE STAYS IN THAILAND

Naw I think what the ministry wants is to see all the documentation that might come up in Thaksin trial. You can be guaranteed that the length of their suspensions and whether they will still be able to work will depend on whether they testify at Thaksin trial. These are the small fish that will lead to the big fish. BUT Cue the protests if the Ministry does not agree.

I think in Thailand it is the same as the rest of the world. The below artickle is about work force but it also aplies to everything. Consider that there is no punishment in schools. Schools are more interested in hiding student abuse than taking action. Kids are babied and covered for by mommy and daddy or the community. https://www.foxnews.com/media/mike-rowe-warns-declining-work-ethic-younger-generations

I think the taxis are not offering tours but are offering to drive people to these palces where they may or may not have a connection with a tour guide. -
Yes there is a genetic issue however, if you read and study the firs things that they recommend is dietary care, exercise medications In common obesity, the cornerstone of clinical management is to provide appropriate nutritional, behavioral and exercise intervention with the help of trained health professionals. The intervention of dieticians, psychologists and teachers of adapted physical activity is recommended for every patients suffering from genetic or syndromic obesity or at-risk of severe obesity later in life, in cases with early diagnosis These are things that are well beyond the average thai family to afford especially if it is just a 66 year old grandfather that knows amost nothing except his GS is obese. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC10234057/#s3 May he RIP

Large padlock would work quite well Why do people not use safes in their rooms. I am sorry but when I invite a lady it is usually from a bar as they are safer. If I was taking off the street I would sanitize my room. Everything but cash for beer and lady would either be locked up in safe or left at front desk if too big. Also there is a reason usually that they are soo cheap and below market price. I also think a lot of the ladyboys realize the last thing most will want is it known that they went that way. Would love to here how he expalins it at home bet it is just a lady no mentin of boy No Sympathy for him sorry.

Report Thailand Considers Hosting Local F1 Race to Boost Tourism
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Utapao is out there is nothing there that would entice the F1 crowd. Better would be Pattaya beach road Pattaya 16 Pattaya Sai 2, Central Pattaya Then why would you not use the F1-certified track at Buriram? Oh yeah, forgot BJT owned LOL The only place that F1 is going to look for is Bangkok, possibly Phuket, as they have the airport facilities . They just don't have the location. Forget the grandstands; there is a need to have secure buildings for the cars. -
Report Pheu Thai Hits Back: ‘Thaksin Hasn’t Fled the Country’
kingstonkid replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
There will be no coup. Thaksin leaving would just be him getting out of Bangkok before the knock on his door. There is no appetite for a coup and too many groups would be against it. If they want to get rid of the PTP all BJT has to do a say good bye. That is not going to happen, however, there is nothing stopping them from saying that while PTP has the most people, BJT should have the next PM and it would be Anutin PTP wants the power but if it is a choice between teh coaliton ending and an election that they would surely lose BIG TIME I think Anutin would be the better route -

I wonder who was on the plane that she took to Monaco and UK. With his flair for theatrics I think if it was false there would be or will be soon a big PTP party. Ifnot he is gone. But unfortunately, not forgotten. -
