I had full driving licenses, car, PSV, HGV in the UK for over 40 years. No accidents. With the exception of health reasons which I don't have at present, if I went back to the UK and wanted a driving license and they started making things difficult for me I would pay the £1,500 for it as it would be a victimless crime, and I have proven my driving abilities. Today in Thailand, if it was being made hard for me to renew my motorbike license, I would not hesitate to pay "under the table" for one as I have proven my ability to handle a motorbike with over 17 years of riding experience with no accidents.

I got rid of them years ago, I asked for a credit card, I had a work permit which they asked for as well as a substantial amount on my account, they told me fine it will be through in about 2 weeks, after 3 weeks I went to ask for it then they told me it had not been approved. I then told them to cancel my account there and then, and where to stick their bank.

What was the fuel consumption on it? I had one 10 years ago. could not fault the bike but the fuel consumption was dreadful.

My house has 5 rooms not including the living room. My wife's son who is a solar panel engineer fitted 6 solar panels as well as everything else, not batteries, done the lot for 70.000Bt about 12 years ago.

Speed bumps slow down emergency vehicles and can also cause lives as well as help to save them. but you can bet if someone dies because they could not get to the hospital in time because the ambulance was slowed down by speed bumps you will never hear about it.

An insurance company's interpretation of comprehensive travel insurance will be a lot different from anyone else's as they are the experts on legal jargon, but I would think the main point is, was he licensed to ride the type of motorcycle he was riding when he had the accident? Even if he is, I would bet that the insurance company would still refuse his claim. Comprehensive Travel Insurance could mean so many things, positive and Negative.

I think this was only a one off, I did drink an awful lot, but I will keep what you said in mind.

The last time I had the hiccups was when I was about 10 years old. I am in Pattaya and was doing a lot of walking and drinking lts of water, low fat milk and "no sugar" drinks. After I went to bed I got the hiccups which seemed to last a long time. I really thought that getting the hiccups was a childrens thing. Anyone else who is a non or social drinker ever get the hiccups?
