  1. Remember this? Only in the 60's and 70's UK could you have a children's TV programme where a character gets slaughtered and falls asleep on his homebrew cider. Fair play to Windy And yes, it's a real episode narrated by the wonderful Brian Cant.
  2. Rich Hall - Why guns make Americans happy. WARNING - This video contains grown-up words, you have been warned!
  3. I fixed @CharlieH typo 🙂 The new layout works well once one gets used to it, many users (myself included) switched to it as soon as it was announced.
  4. There were party games too ... WARNING! - This video contains scenes of extreme cruelty to plastic stools. Viewer discretion is advised. You have been warned!! No children were crushed in the making of this video!
  5. A comment on moderation has been removed. @cdulaney why not take a moment to re-read the forum rules which are here https://aseannow.com/terms/

  7. If you have not already, check the supply poles, there "should' be an earth rod from the neutral (usually the top wire) every 3rd pole or so. If you don't see this it's safest to assume that your supply is not MEN and proceed accordingly. With no MEN you just need to bash in a 2m or so earth rod and connect it to the (rather empty) ground bar in your CU. Do NOT link that earth bar to the neutral. This will make your system TT which is perfectly safe since you have an incoming RCBO. Take the earths from there to your equipment that needs an earth / 3-pin outlets.
  8. That's exactly what I was thinking, we used "Petseal" when restoring old Brit. Bikes even if the tank wasn't actually leaking, yet. Tank needs to be totally clean (like steam-cleaner clean) and dry.
  9. I'm not defending the idea!! In Egypt (where I have some projects) the largest banknote is 200 Egyptian Pounds or 130.64 Baht. It generally works OK. You just have to carry around a large wedgie Of course the main reason is to force everyone in to using digital payment systems so The Man can see what we are up to.
  10. Here's a working link https://www.thelondoneconomic.com/politics/why-brits-hate-donald-trump-401591/
  11. AND They are much more secure than they used to be with fingerprint and/or facial recognition. Which Thai bank are you with?
  12. And to get warmed up for that on Boxing Day is another Brit classic: -
  13. Of course the Airport Link and Red Line also have their own, different, cards! Singapore was pretty much the same until the Land Trasport Authority (LTA) got out their big stick. Now one card works for everything including (in conjunction with your vehicle On Board Unit or OBU) road charging and parking as well as, of course, the buses and metro. MRTA are trying to bring things together with the 40 Baht flat fare after the OTP failed to gain any traction with the Mangmoom card. We shall see, there's still a lot of resistance from the transit operators.
