Sorry. A potentially "risky" post has been removed, the content may well be 100% correct but we really can't risk the comments that would be attracted.

Yeah, we like the Makro ones too, more than adequate if you can't be a***d to make your own (we used to). To be honest "fussy" and "sausage" don't really belong in the same sentence considering what actualy goes in most of them. Now bacon (and ham) really is something worth curing yourself.

One assumes that this is a US based survey since KFF is based in San Francisco. I wonder just what a similar survey in Thailand or Europe would look like. I have heard all of them and I know them to be untrue apart from maybe the numbers one. With every country having different testing regimes and counting methods who knows the real numbers anywhere.

I still have incandescents in the chook brooder. Last time I bought some was in one of the little outlets next to Sukhumvit MRT station, opposite side of the road from Soi Cowboy. No idea if it's still there.

Many moons ago I was working field service and had to visit the Timex factory in Dundee (it really was a long time ago). I was there for a week and stayed in a super pub/hotel, sadly I forget the name. First morning I was treated to a full Scottish breakfast, delicious, of course I scoffed the lot. Second morning I was also treated to a full Scottish, actually it was fuller, having more eggs, bacon, haggis (wild) and toast. Again I scoffed the lot (didn't need lunch that day). By the third morning the breakfast had grown to epic proportions, so I asked the waitress what the score was. "The chef doesn't like people to leave hungry! He catches most English like that. Just leave 1/2 a piece of bacon". Next morning the breakfast was back to the day two size. The chef did come out and ask if I wanted any more.

Next really high tides (4.2m) are at the beginning of December, hopefully by then the river will have dropped significantly, we shall see. Meanwhile, the dogs found a new friend (the turtle not the wife) stranded by the floods, released him/her into the khlong outside our wall.

Yeah, it does sound like a control board failure. If the little board with the switches and sensor on it has a plug/socket connection try unplugging / re-plugging (I just fixed a CCTV camera like that). Wriggle cables looking for potential bad connections. Failing that it's time to call the man I'm afraid. We have had good service from Samsung Service themselves and not too expensive, so if they service your area definitely worth a call.
