  1. This really is the real reason! Trust me, I'm a moderator.
  2. LHS - Let's Have Sex (no, that is not a proposition) RHS - Right Hand Sex?
  3. @Liverpool Lou Go to the Top is coming as is Delete Notifications, patience my Scouse friend (Bolton lad here, it's close enough and on the correct side of the Pennines). Other issues are noted and added to the increasingly long Punch List** ** Note - This is not the list of members you wish to punch!!
  4. As an equally old engineer I agree, if it's not farked, don't fix it!!! Sadly, as was noted in the we're back thread, this time it wasn't of our doing.
  5. Royal Horticultural Society of course Or it could just be Right Hand Side And they occasionally take ages for me too, usually a second click kicks things into life. Not ideal of course but ...
  6. "Reactions" have been anonymous for some time, too many were using them to troll/stalk other members. If you think that someone is trolling/stalking you using reactions please hit "Report" with your concerns. The All-Knowing Oracle knows who reacted what
  7. Some things are certainly not just you. Rest assured that the tech chaps are working on restoring all the familiar functionality, it's a step by step process. What OS / browser are you using?
  8. Only by pulling the outgoing meter tails Of course, you need to do this "live"; I would employ a local sparks to do this for you. Mark the tails with tape and photograph, so you guarantee getting them back correctly. It's technically illegal to tamper with the meter connections (hence getting a local to do it), but they are rarely sealed and nobody actually cares. Or, as noted above, call PEA, but still mark and photograph the tails, even PEA can (and do) get it wrong.
  9. Equipment required: - Flat bottom boat or tea tray if no boat Big engine/longtail drive Balls of steel!
  10. Provided you do an out-in with your "in" before the valid until date you will get a new 90-day entry.
  11. Do these ladies know about each other? If not there may be fireworks too!
  12. Sadly, (or maybe not) this was a hoax: - Sadly, this wasn't: -
  13. Yeah, I think I may have been confusing with the backpack type ULV chemical sprayers on the engine front. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/ulv-i4867972852-s20355934469.html
  14. Madam tells me that the local authorities are not fogging for mozzies this year (no $$$) So, since I'd like to keep the beasties at bay, we need something to DIY. We only have a couple of rai so I really don't want to spend $$$ on things with engines etc. along with the hassles of getting the ruddy thing started, I really don't get along with 2-strokes! (OK, they hate me!) There are quite a few Heath-Robinson devices on Lazada, for less than a Grand I'm prepared to give them a go, but has anyone actually tried one? https://www.lazada.co.th//products/i2884647091-s10525830858.html
  15. The places I've used include a link to the genuine MS download site (even for the non 365 versions) so you know there's nothing nasty lurking within.
  16. Over the years I've had several inkjet printers both with and without tanks. All have become blocked at some stage requiring messy and wasteful cleaning. If you don't need colour, a cheap laser printer will print first time, every time! The worst issue we had was a jinjok that wasn't fast enough, he was immortalised on half a dozen sheets. If you do need colour, then colour lasers are not silly money now. Although they can be more expensive to run than an inkjet the time saved by not messing about persuading it to print is, IMHO, worth it. Never going back to inkjet!
  17. There are already several threads running regarding the forum's (lack of) speed. We really don't need another. The tech chaps are working on it.
  18. Plenty of OEM versions on Lazada, "genuine", need activation by phone (automatic system). Do record your final activation code as you won't be able to go through the phone activation system again if you need to re-install.
  19. A couple of years back Don Mueang Tollway were giving away bread kratongs at the outbound Rangsit toll booth. They were like concrete, any fish that tried to eat them would lose their teeth Madam makes ours from banana trunk and other stuff from the garden, held together with cocktail sticks, the only non-biodegradable bit would be the cake candle. Village stalls sell similar items for those who can't be bothered. The village boss insists on no plastic/polystyrene etc.
  20. That's not a sinkhole! This is a sinkhole! Guatemala, 2010.
  21. There certainly seems to be a potential design issue with these concrete hole covers!
