EMS used to be great prior to covid, we had boxed articles delivered to the US in 4 days with a guarantee of 6 days maximum but that is no longer what is happening, last time I used them it took several weeks and not direct flights, they stopped in other countries for weeks at a time. I have put it down to the business being sold and/or profits becoming more important than delivering the articles as their service has dropped so much that they can no longer be trusted, they are supposed to be a fast service but that is no longer the case, E-express M-mail S-service is now worse than thai post and the express part is absolute BS, also the last time we used them 2 boxes were badly damaged, they can no longer be regarded as a safe, trusted, fast delivery service

Our neighbour has chickens, he doesnt live on his block of land and just lets his chickens roam around, we have fences around our land but the chickens still get into it to scratch around the trees. The trouble is we buy coir chip and have our worker place it around the trees to stop the moisture from evaporating quickly with all the heat currently, the chickens scratch it all out as well as scratch down destroying the feeder roots on the young trees/seedlings which in turn cause some of the trees/seedlings to die. We have asked our neighbour to keep his chickens in their pens which he used to do originally but he just shrugs and says too hard, as some of the trees/seedlings are worth a lot of money I need to protect them and want to start killing any of his chickens I find on our land seeing he refuses to do anything about them. I have been told that as I have fenced our land in I have the right to kill any animals etc that invade it but do not want to get in trouble with the law, I also want to put down baits for the chickens along our side of the fence, paying for coir chip as well as labour to put it around our trees just so his chickens can scratch it all away is costing us money, it is getting rediculous, we need to be able to protect out property from his finacial costs. The trees are plumeria/frangipani/lillawadee, some of the best varieties in the world, I do cross pollination to create new varieties so the trees are worth a lot of money, I need to be able to stop his chickens from destroying them and he just doesnt care or want to do anything about it, killing them appears to be our last option but only if we can do it legally, this is where a 410 shot gun would come in very handy with rat shot but baits seem to be the only option for us if we are allowed to protect our land. Would appreciate other people that farm here to let me know if we are allowed to protect our land and to kill his chickens without getting into trouble with the law, not worried about the neighbour as he has shown in the past to be a total a hole.

muslims deny it because they do not want it accepted as the truth because it puts them in a bad light, they know it is true and did happen but dont want people to accept that many muslims think terrorism is good and that killing/raping non muslims is acceptable. There is video evidence of this happening, there is body cam recordings done by the muslim terrorists while doing it, you only have to look at the video of the girl they raped and killed being dragged through the streets and all the muslims kicking/spitting on her body to see exactly how these radical idiots think and behave, the uk has a lot to worry about with this happening in their own country, while muslims are basically good cirizens these radicals are not, same as radicals in any religion, govts need to make sure they are not able to push their BS on everyone else.

strange as I do it often and it is never questioned by immigration, they just require my wife to ensure mine is updated yearly at my extension, they do not want/require one everytime we go away for a few days, werent the laws changed to not require constant re filing tm30's if only traveling inside Thailand and not changing your regular residence, while we had to do it when it was made into law we havent had to since the law for tm30's for every stay away from your residence was removed

the police refuse to arrest thais that break the same rules everyday but chase foreigners because there is more money in it for them, the police totally ignore thais breaking road regulations right in front of them, I see it all the time. Bikes/cars/trucks driving the wrong way on a street, nothing, no licence, nothing, bikes/cars/trucks running red lights, nothing, failing to idicate, nothing, speeding, nothing, bikes with multiple people on them or no helmets, nothing. Thai police are very selective on who they pull over if they work at all, it all depends totally on how much graft they can get away with

my wife has a problem in that she plucks white hairs from her head just about every night leaving bald patches and has taken to doing comb/brush overs to hide it, apart from that she has fairly thick hair but says she can "feel" the white hair, dont know if this is a thai thing but she has been doing it for many years, she is in her 50's.

when we built our new house the pea pole was placed outside our fenceline on the road side with the meter then the pea had to place a pole near our house and set the power line to it as well, our electrician then wired everything from that pole, we had to pay the pea extra for them to do this as well as for the poles to our land. If your house is wired from the opposite side of the road to a pole near your house then it is more than likely the pea were the ones that ran the wires to it before the electricians ran wires to your house, in this case it should be a pea problem if they did wire to the pole in front of your house from the other side of the road, doesnt matter where the meter is as they are the ones that did the wiring that is leaking.

Before covid hit the US was in a good position going by all the figures showing high employment, low cost of living, food, petrol etc, illegal immigration being controlled and world wars declining, trump was running his mouth but there were good things happening that were verified by many countries around the world apart from democrat voters but then covid hit and everything went to sh*t everywhere in the world. Then there was biden, dems were happy to be rid of trump but things did not improve, illegal immigratin sky rocketed, woke policies were instituted, cost of living started increasing, wars increased, parents started losing their rights over their own children and were even hounded by the fbi but dems were happy, as a non US citizen it was apparent that even though trump had a big mouth he did do some good things, biden on the other hand didnt do much at all except appease dem voters but then I am not a rusted on voter for either party, to me it appears that there is no neutral people in the US and this can be seen with the court problems facing trump, they are politically motivated(this is based on neutral reporting and facts) and the judges are using their personal preferences for either party to reach decisions while ignoring/blocking facts & the actual law, the old justice is blind has become a thing of the past and it is now justice goes to the party running the case. The US has become a total joke with regards to politics, it is now a matter of either dems and republicans getting their own political views pushed and to hell with the "people" if they dont agree, doesnt matter who wins it will always remain a sh*t fight due to the combatant voters & their parties that refuse to accept the truth and that everyone has a right to their own opinion & vote for their preferred party without being denegrated by the opposition.

in my younger days I smoked(weed plus oil) and ate cookies along with a few other things, gave it away by choice but did use cookies to help me get off the final amount of opoids I was on for many years due to pain(used to help a friend trim his plants as I like the smell, was very fruity & he supplied the trim to make the cookies), I am also aware of many friends that continued to use it, some a lot more than others, several have ended up with definite "mental" problems from heavy over use, a lot more are also extremely paranoid and cannot accept that they have problems due to its use but as it is self induced and they dont harm others just themselves it remains up to them so I dont condemn them, people want to use weed there is nothing anyone can do especially when it is legal. Claiming it does nothing or no harm is a whole different kettle of worms, same as alcoholics that claim drinking doesnt harm them, have to admit I have seen it do good for some people with certain health conditions if used as prescribed but anyone using it regularly will have some side effects from it, its just that they refuse to accept the truth and again that is entirely up to them, its those around them that dont use that see what it actually does to them so go for it guys, eventually its effects will become evident in some way

around the top of internal walls where they meet the grprock/dry wall ceilings you will generally get cracks appear because the plaster mix they use to fill the gap between the wall and ceiling dries hard so will naturally crack with heat expansion. Also as most of the ones that do the filling overlap down the wall a bit the cracks can be slightly lower than the actual corners in places, using an acrylic filler with these cracks is better as it can expand & contract where the hard plaster cannot, remove this overlap plaster by running the edge of a blade in the corner all the way along the wall/ceiling join then fill with an acrylic filler.

I have lost 2 frozen deliveries, one was just left on top of my gate post in the middle of the day, no call or anything and we were away from the house, by the time we got home it was thawed. The other took them 5 days to deliver(they had sent it to a totaly different area and it sat there for a couple of days) and when it arrived it was in the back of a normal delivery truck, appears the companies/drivers just do what ever they please

we have had the same many times, drivers dont want to go out of their way, finish early or just can be bothered appears to be the problem with most, some have even put up the same excuse for a couple of days or say no one at home when delivery attempted, no one can get near our house without our dogs going ballistic plus my office faces the gate so it is pure lies. Then there is the "we delivered" when they havent, flash have been the worst for us, they have no problms making up BS reasons and they also rarely phone as they are supposed to to let you know they are on the way, most do as they please and screw the customers

I have been chasing star pickets for over 10 years in Thailand, the best way to get them I have found is to have them imported from Australia as I am unable to find any thai suppliers, I want them for fencing as well as to support trees so a couple of different heights are required. I have found a business that will import them (Bunnasia) as well as a supplier in Australia but it does run up costs, a thai supplier would be better if I could find one and a star picket driver is necessary.

Actually they are an Australian invention, they were originally made in Melbourne Victoria to suit aussie tastes, very different to dim sum

They only dropped the price 95 baht to 1115 baht, 315 baht more than 2 months ago and only after I had a go at them.

Two months ago I bought frozen dim sims(an aussie favourite) at 800 baht( around$34) for 30, they sold out in just a couple of days, yesterday I got an email from the importer saying they had another shipment coming in shortly and we can pre order to make sure we get what we want so I went in to do so. Problem is they have upped the price almost 60% in the last 2 months with the same bags now costing 1250 baht(around $54), they have not had a price rise in Australia, in Australia they currently cost $9.50 from their supplier(Coles, a couple of dollars more from other sellers) so even paying $34 last time was high but to raise the current price to just over $54 for them is a real stretch. I realize that for someone to import frozen food from Australia it does require them to raise prices but to raise them so much in just 2 months is very suspect especially knowing that aussie expats will try to get their favourite food and pay a bit more for it to do so. I have been using this business for around 12 months and liked what they did but after this I will no longer support them, I understand the required profit margins needed to import but to push them up this much in 2 months is way over the top

have been hit on the head a few times over the years, you can either watch your feet so you dont go down open drains or fall over over broken/missing sections or watch out for head high signs and I am under 6' tall so they are low. The fact that footpaths are not taken care of or maintained doesnt help at all nor does the fact they make signage way too low as well as the low hanging wires but doing everything as cheap as possible to make more profit is the real fault as those in charge are more concerned with how much they can pocket by ignoring repairs etc like many other people in Thailand, money is more important than the people.
