The word communism is an often misused word, there has never been a communist state, plenty of dictatorships spouting the word socialist yes. One needn't wait for elections for disinformation, it is rampant in everyday media, good old 'reporting the facts' and leaving personal prejudices for the opinion columns is a thing of the past.
