  1. Rubbish, people can accidentally just lose one, different if they did it regularly, charging a higher price makes no difference, it's just the juristic trying to earn money for the office which is daft, when often they waste money elsewhere. You are always banging on about sex workers, presumably your girlfriend is your age and no big age gap?
  2. I'm under 60 and I've heard zero from the various registrations i did including expatvac, just as well i managed to get vaccinated via company route
  3. don't talk garbage, these things cost around 10 baht, so 500 baht is just too much, it's not as if people are trying to lose their fob
  4. No ATM fee, but there are limits, Kasikorn had 20k with my MasterCard. Krungsri limit was my Mastercard credit card credit limit which was big so i withdrew 100k a time
  5. It's a scam as they cost around 10 baht, i know I bought a fob for my front door. At my condo i paid 700 baht, agreed by committee, i complained, eventually lowered to 300 baht, still too high
  6. Decathlon, check online first. Alternatively just wear trainers, i stopped wearing golf shoes a couple years ago
  7. in the other thread he was cold and disparaging towards thai girls so it all kinda makes sense
  8. I've not hired anyone here but I've noticed half chinese thai are on another level
  9. I'm in a condo, only about 2 people use it a day. I would have bought a condo without a pool if there were a choice available. Save your money and don't build a pool for the house
  10. like i said, weird behaviour, but you think it's normal. Wow a colleague who enquires about personal things......
  11. I've noticed on this thread people trying to normalise weird behaviour
  12. you not think that's weird? being unfriendly? or friendly one day, unfriendly the next? seems like personality swings to me
  13. I can't imagine a heart valve op (maybe replacement) would be cheap. My mum had a valve replacement in the UK, a big op, think it took several hours
  14. The other thing that happens frequently is as well as committing too quickly they can't end it, its quite hard to shake them sometimes
  15. You're getting a bit hung up on the "needy" thing, some people are naturally friendly and talking to other people is normal and not needy. You get guys who think it's normal to not say hello, not be friendly or worse are hot and cold with the friendliness, i find that weird. As for hospitals and someone to take care when sick, if I'm single which is likely, i will pay one of my female friends to look after me for the duration, so it's good keeping friendly with some
  16. It's difficult to know if someone knows what they are doing until after they've started. I guess we try and use recommendations for that. Facebook Pattaya Oracle is good for that, usually someone recommends a tradesman, just need to filter out the shady falang
  17. Anyone noticed thaifriendly just changed? Usually i can click on an email like and it leads me to the website and profile, now it goes to a different search format and not to profile, then it tries to get you to subscribe. Main problem is the search is now much more limited, not worthy of subscription
  18. you wouldn't, point is it's difficult to compare because the Bangkok Bank rate you get is settlement date vs Wise trade date
  19. Kasikorn ATM couldn't read card the other day, another ATM was fine. Can easily go in branch with card and passport and withdraw, usually a lot more than ATM limit, plus should avoid ATM fee
  20. i would either reduce the daily alcohol or have some days off
