  1. when you leave Thailand without a re-entry permit or a still valid multi entry visa, your permission to stay ends,
  2. being born in UK doesn't make you British i believe
  3. Thai air have A350-900, which have a different engine to the effected Cathy Pacific A350-1000
  4. might be me, but i can not see a yearly extension issued while on either a tourist visa or a VE entry
  5. are they still using the rickety old ferries
  6. photo's of stamps issued on a tourist/VE entry would be good
  7. these constant 'brown envelope' remarks do get boring,
  8. the problem with agents suppling the 800,000thb for the extension is getting away from them to do it yourself the following year, married or retirement, as you have not complied with the 2 months before, 3 months after and 400,000thb remainder of the year, best to stay away from agents and find an alternative,
  9. you are allowed one 60 day wife extension per entry into Thailand, excluding re-entry permit entries,
  10. not quite correct. my take on it is anyone single who is a tax resident, and has assessable income of 120k+ per calendar year should file, or 220k+ if married and are filing a joint return.
  11. you need a work permit to give golf lessons
  12. i came off for the 1st time, bike sold next day, car only from now on, 3 things to avoid in Thailand, Bikes, minibuses and sitting in the back of a pickup
  13. I just completed this quiz. My Score 90/100 My Time 309 seconds
  14. when you say when you say new 'visa', where did you obtain the 'visa' inside or outside of Thailand
  15. the driver should have called the insurance company to the scene, and you should have kept out of it, you have only complicated things by poking your nose in. i think it was your friends fault as you stated the bike was parked.
  16. need to get your head out of the sand, if your bringing enough money into live on into Thailand then you more than likely need to get a TIN, should speak to local office
  17. you have changed my post which you have then quoted, look at forum rule 28
  18. so you are implying that the car is moving on its own without any input from the driver
  19. i think it does, have you ever been in that position?
  20. not really, as you have no control over it, your just a yearly allowed guest in Thailand
  21. i should of added legally to the post new cars are different to change of ownership so prachin buri man has not registered the vehicle in his name
  22. no compulsory insurance is required
  23. I think you are not on a OA visa but a yearly extension for being retired. and your last visa was a non immigrant 'O' visa, which has long expired, if that is the case you do not need insurance, as you are out of Thailand you should have a re-entry permit issued by immigration, if so you should be stamped in until March, if you do not have a re-entry permit, then you will have to start the process over again. and entry on a visa exempt entry which at the moment is a 60 days permission to stay stamp.
  24. a car from another province will need to have new local reg number issued, doesn'y matter who does it the buyer or the seller
