I try to have it 1m from the bottom, but the well water height and recharge rate varies between seasons.

One of our bores is a Hitachi jet pump. Every now and then, sand or small pebbles lodge in the water intake and stop the flap on the bottom of the pipe from closing, therefore all the pump water drains out and the pump won't pump as it has no head of water. When this happens we have to lift up the 15m of pipe, clean out the debris so the flap will seal, then start again. This is a pain. I need to come up with a better solution. The jet head is down the well at the bottom of the inlet pipe. Would moving the jet head to the top of the pipe near the pump motor make any difference? Wrapping the ventuti and pipe inlet in some thin plastic gause? Maybe replacing the jet pump with a conventional pump as the depth of pipe is only about 15m. The pump is for back-up and irrigation, but Sod's Law states that everytime we go away something will happen to our other 60m main bore setup.

When I went it was a crush of people stamping thru the narrow end of Walking Street to the pier. Dangerous if someone yelled BOMB. There was nothing you could do but be funelled with the mob. Dangerous. Wouldn't do it again. Live dangerously in Thailand, but not die in a Walking Street stampeed.

When I lived there they were around the pier. Were heaps of people pushing down Walking Street to the pier area. Good night.

So you are in the process of selling a house in Pattaya. Everyone agreed on a price, intention of purchase within 1 month drawn up and deposit given. On the day of the sale completion we go to the land office, the buyer gives us a cashiers cheque, we then sign the house land paper and register with the new owner. This is how I think it goes, is this correct please? Is receiving a cashier's cheque the same as receiving the money, or can they somehow cancel the cheque after the land office papers are signed? Any things I have to watch out for? Thanks.

Lots of Chinese around in Pattaya, young couples. Put up a sign to sell/rent our Pattaya City house and it was bought within a week. Lots of young Chinese couples. Why are they buying up Pattaya? My wife thinks they can now get a 99 year agreement to own the house and land.

We rent our Pattaya house for 12 months contract, but have a clause that says we or they can give 1 month notice to leave. We're in Pattaya now cause our renter just left suddenly. Said they went back to England, but really they had a gambling den here and the police raided. Stupid people, left his name and some of the gambling stuff and accounting books behind.

Look at the rent contract. Should be a clause saying you need to give them 1 month notice.

Years ago (maybe still?) outside Lupini park in Banggers, had a guy selling snakes blood. Just a quick shot and off to work you go. Met a guy on a course who kept snakes for food. Said the snake penis was great as well as the snake venom. Gave a real high he said, but one had to increase the dose slowly. He looked a bit like a snake too. Darker oily skin. Yuck!

So for the mirror function, you don't need internet on the same network as your phone. You don't need internet connected to your tv. Is this correct?

My phone has True internet. My TV does not have internet connected or bluetooth built-in. I want to stream from my phone to the TV. I heard you can stream using a Bluetooth dongal in the TV (equipt for sound and vision). If this is correct, what's the dongal called and per chance do you know where I could buy it in Pattaya? Any other methods while no internet to TV?

They get in my pool every now and then, then they go away. Stupid little things. When you're sitting in the pool and they give you a nip.

Try to do 5-6km a day walk, but bad back sometimes limits this. Been on prostrate medicine for about a month and makes me hungry all the time.

Don't eat fat food except brown rice. Mainly salmon and kale and rice.

Putting on too much weight for my bad back and thought I would give the weight loss drug a try. Have to loose 10kgs. Is there a program or shop in Pattaya that sells Ozempic? Will be in Pattaya for about 1 month. Thanks

Hi, I've got rods and screws and fused from T11 to pelvis. As you say back then drs gave you everything. Still try and walk 5 to 6km per day but painfull next day and I take the occasional tramadol too. We'll have to meet up and compare back scars. I've 6. 😉

Yes, a bad suggestion.

You have to practice and you get better. Have to feel like you flatten the foot, the flatter the more stabalization. Then you pick a dot or a fine point on a wall you're looking at and just concentrate on that dot. Then stand on one leg concentrating on the dot with a flat foot.

Agree with Crossy, also: One major problem I think is that Thai tile layers don't leave a big enough expansion joint between tiles. Like in bricks and mortar, the mortar or joint should be the weakest point, so the joint can crack and not damage the brick or tile. So over time the filler between the tiles cracks and the tiles expanding push up at the joint. I've got the same problem outside as well as tiles cracking because the ' yaa nails' is stronger than the tiles.
