I don't think tourists are idiots. My country doesn't have ID cards. Does the UK? So when you first arrived in Thailand and had a bit of hanky-panky, did you ask for them's licence or ID card? Specific places have their specials, gay bars, pump stations, S&M etc., but I just thought that Hua Hin could have caught this person off guard if he is a tourist or not part of the local scene. Anyway all speculation. Hang him I say. 🙂

Proton if he is new to the sceen, a tourist, he wouldn't even know Thai girls have ID cards or have to be 20 years old. If he actually sought young girls out then he deserves what he gets.

My barber had a sign (in Thai) for his haircut prices. It used to be B80 for a man and B100 for a gentleman. So as a delapidated older white model I used to give the barber B80, but he pointed to the gentleman B100 sign. So white older male persons are Gentlemen. 🙂

So if you put 100 Thai women in a room, all done up, you could seperate the underage women? What about if you were a young tourist and not been here long?

If you are a visitor and not a regular at the bar scene, how would you know a girl is underage? So you pop into a bar for a drink, have a few, then expected to know if a girl (first of all, is a girl, then is under or over 18 years old [if that is the age]. I was in Manilla staying at this hotel and 2 young Americans were having a great time, then I didn't see them for about a week, then They came in one morning and quickly left. Seems they met some girls at the local Mac cafe. 2 am in the morning so said non-uniform, gun toting undercover police took them out of the hotel and kept them for ransom because the girls from the Mac cafe were underage. They had to withdraw money from their ATM for the police then off to the airport. Boy were they scared.

I always give a 'thumbs up' if I don't understand and a 'laugh' for the rest. This "worst joke ever" forum has really horrible jokes (love it :)) but keeps all the Richard Craniems away. Great regular posters and no fighting like the other forums. Maybe because we've sunk as low as we can go? 🙂 I think it was Yellowtail who posted a joke, which I considered a really worst joke. To which he/she/them replied... 'Does that mean I win'. 555555

But but, you can buy beer there during the defined hours, and come back and get it anytime you like. Or, find a shop that will sell it to you. Seems the shop registers are closed for alcohol sales during the proabition hours, but if you don't put the money thru the register, you can pay cash (no register docket) if the shop agrees.

I bought mine from PPFence 5 years ago. Good quality. Also bought the Star Picket wacker, which is a must.

Just be nice and persist. Ask to see the top guy and you stay away and let your Thai wife do the negotiation. Contributions between Thais to make things run smoothly sometimes helps. 🙂

Hi @Chris Move this post to the Health Forum and hopefully @Sheryl will advise you which doctor. I've found the After Hours Clinic (Thai: clinik nok wella) to be great. It's part of KKU Hospital. I also have tremors but varies from day to day. I found that cutting down caffine helped.

I don't think it will be a problem if you shock your pool. When you digitally checked the pool, did you calibrate the test instrument first? You need to get a test kit that you trust. Takes a while but if you get all your pool parameters correct, then every weekend check again and just probably have to add some Soda Ash for PH.

Yes :) You're (mostly) always correct. I remember when you stuffed up with: dB= 10 log P1/P2 and db = 20 log E1/E2. Long time ago. :)
