  1. You can also file electronically directly with the IRS or through any of its filing "partners" such as IRS Free File Program delivered by Online Taxes at OLT.com. You'll get tracking and acceptance notification for return or reason for rejection.
  2. To be clear: "The cadmium waste was rendered inert before being disposed of ... retrieving it from the landfill and transporting it to Samut Sakhon province for smelting is an offence." https://www.nationthailand.com
  3. As I remember Myanmar government's excuse in a previous Mig-29 infringement of Thai airspace was that their jet bomb run on civilians and insurrection military required it to travel in the direction across the Thai border and not enough airspace to turn back before such incursion. I believe Thailand's response was 'don't do it again.' Thailand didn't make any protest of the Myanmar government's coincidental attack on Myanmar civilians.
  4. Contact Ukraine. Maybe manpads and/or drones to attack government air bases.
  5. History already. Myanmar jet enters Thai airspace, prompting evacuations June 30, 2022 https://aseannow.com/topic/1324658-thai-f-16s-conduct-air-patrols-as-myanmar-mig-29s-attack-karen-fighters/ "A Myanmar fighter jet crossed the border into Thailand’s airspace on Thursday, prompting Thai air force jets to scramble and officials to order the evacuation of villages and classrooms, officials said. The Royal Thai Air Force said it dispatched two F-16 fighters to patrol the area after receiving a report of an aircraft that crossed into Thailand’s airspace while carrying out an attack in Myanmar territory held by an ethnic minority group. It asked the military attaché at the Thai Embassy in Myanmar to convey a warning to Myanmar authorities and work with them to avoid similar incidents in the future." (my bold) So this time another post-action warning. More disturbing militarily is the apparent lack of early detection by Thailand of the Mig-29 in both instances
  6. All very true but within the existing laws and regulations. If there is substantial public outrage in how such laws and regulations can be manipulated, petition parliament to amend applicable laws. Such review might even require an amendment of the constitution itself.
  7. His "business" was a scam to get a visa qualified for annual extensions. Already identified as such by authorities.
  8. 5 to 2 vote to maintain 2.5%. Unlikely in the near term to get a minimum 4 to 3 vote to cut further. Personally, a reversal of 5 to 2 or 6 to 1 vote to cut rate would carry more public confidence than a bare majority.
  9. Never been to Pattaya Beach but as a general guide: "9 essential tips to start a water sports business" By Kevin Tjoe — 24 Aug 2023 Rezdy newsletter Best first if not already to visit Pattya Beach to get a good impression of what type of people visit/live there who enjoy or might enjoy water sports, check with travel agencies and online travel blogs (ie., trip advisor) and videos on water sports for the area. Personally, I'd say use your experience and knowledge as a foreigner who can bring something unique that maybe even a Thai might not successfully copy. Just brainstorming, what about a virtual water sport reality experience on the beach? Or go Cayman Island submarine style venture.
  10. If the will is translated after the testator is deceased, it will not have the testator's signature and its authenticity will be suspicious. The portion of a will in English is for the benefit of a testator who doesn't read and write Thai. With testator's signature in the bilingual will, it adds authenticity.
  11. How Much of a trumper are You? Sorry, but I'm non-religious.
  12. If you want to clear Thai probate, have document in both English and Thai. Especially if witnesses are Thai. Easy to do it yourself.
  13. Likely Thailand is geberally not negotiating in good faith, ie., allow Malay Mudlims semi-autonomy, that creates militant backslash. The problem is that Thailand won't allow the Malay Muslim citizens of the subjugated Kingdom of Patani "to do what the want" because of Thailand's illegal occupation. The para-military rangers are paid mercenaries. Doing their duty? Or just doing what they're paid to do without regular RTM soldiers exposing themselves to possible attack. The mercenaries were dispatched "to visit villagers building an arch, to celebrate the end of Ramada." Just Malay Muslims celebrating their faith and traditions. Thai military presence was unnecessary, likely sent to intimidate the citizens to remind them they are under controll by the Buddhist Kingdom of Thailand. Remind Malays their religion, traditions and customs are subservient to KoT. Especially offensive while Thailand is allegedly attempting peace negotiations with the insurregency over the future of the region.
  14. Not with JBP Contact-F. Albeit it has the appearance and consistency of water. Applied with roller brush. Never tried air spray.
  15. I've heard from Thais in Bangkok province talk about Thai spoken in the Chiang Rai area as almost indecipherable. And it gets worse when they speak any English.
  16. How is this different than such a couple in a condo room of a 10 story building being observed through a window by a camera drone outside? The couple were not within "public eye" contact.* However, the video taper who posted the couple in social media did place without permission the couple's personal activities using electronic data into the public eye. So if RTP is going to charge anyone, I suggest the video taper for violating at least the Personal Data Act. * if the couple were directly personally observed 14 miles or greater off the coast, public eye contact wouldn't apply as that would be beyond Thailand’s territorial (aka sovereign) reach and thus beyond reach of Thailand's laws.
  17. Returning these officers to the Mynamar military junta will only extend the civil war, reinforcing the dictator junta and its war crimes. These officers chose not to surrender to the KNLA as did the 600+ surrender of the 356th and 357th government battalions including family members who will be treated in accordance with international laws governing POW's. Compare that treatment with the Mynamar indiscriminate bombing of civilian areas. karen news.org Thailand should hold these escaped officers in Thailand (families to return) for illegal entry and further pressure the junta to negotiate peace with KNLA. Thailand is not a signatory of any international treaties related to refugees and does not have to accept the fleeing officers as legitimate refugees. Place them in Thai controlled camps as Thailand has done with Karen's.
  18. In the past: "HUA HIN INFRASTRUCTURE REFORM", By Nick, December 27, 2013 huahintoday.co “Hua Hin needs remodeling and reorganisation as it is growing without practical direction. It has water shortage, wastewater and traffic jams. The new City Plan will address these issues so that Hua Hin will remain charming and attractive to visitors worldwide,” "AS TAPS GO DRY, HUA HIN QUESTIONS IMMENSE ARTIFICIAL LAGOON", By Sasiwan Mokkhasen, Staff Reporter, March 1, 2016 khaosodenglish.com "Fixing Water Problems," By Nick, June 2019 Huahintoday.com "Upon the completion of this project, residents should be relieved of water shortage problems and occasional floods caused by blockade in the drainage." Today there is a plan (paraphrasing): On April 1, 2024, a memorandum of understanding aimed at increasing the volume of raw water available for tap water. Hua Hin Municipality and the Irrigation Office No. 14 promises to solve the recent issues regarding a lack of water being supplied to different parts of Hua Hin. Huahintoday.com A plan is not a strategy. It's an excuse for an unfullfilled goal.
  19. Add kidnapping to his charges. Unlawful restraint of a person's liberty by force. Add threat with a weapon. "There were cars passing by" Force a plea deal, ie., no prosecution, pay bill and 10k baht to each woman.
  20. Not yet adjudicated quilty, why resign? But Jatuporn seems to indicate that criminality better sets with a politician than with law enforcement.
  21. Notice the useless middle concrete barrier that actually helped truck cross the median.
  22. Like Country Hillbilly meets Big City Slicker. Regressive vs Progressive. (note: in reality some crossover).
  23. No. Many sources. "Global EV market forecasted to reach 17.5 million units with solid growth of 27% in 2024. The latest Canalys research predicts sales of global electric vehicles (EVs) to grow 29% and reach 13.7 million units, equating to a penetration rate of 17.1% in 2023."
