    The new Thappraya Road, a big improvement, when was that 2006? The main change is the number of new condos, even from my balcony i can count 6 or 7 and we have the Grand Solare 2000 units next year. So traffic is much worse of course plus the mess they made of Thepprasit Road.

    I would never give my passport to a third party just to save a 10 minute wait, Plenty reports of them losing passports.

    I thought the Chinese economy had collapsed. Do 1 million Chinese still have money for a holiday in Thailand, and buying a new condo while they are here !!

    Still good fun getting attention from the girls and eye candy. Doesn't have to be full sex. If he comes now before summer not that hot.

    I always apply a month before my visa expires so it's 2 months before the application not the expiry date.

    I went to Phuket last year. Thought i had got on the wrong plane to Moscow. I was the only non Russian in the hotel. Totally ruined my holiday. Will never visit Phuket again.

    Good news. Really annoying when i go out to say Makro to do my shopping early, or mid afternoon, and can't buy any booze.

    Roosters are the worst. I can put up with most road noise, music etc but roosters drive me mad, especially at 5am.

    I have been happy with my Samsung, very quiet. The key is to get one with an inverter so it's not turning on and off.

    Unless i die suddenly i intend to transfer as much as possible of assets/money to my wife around age 80. Then when i die there should only be a limited amount of cash in the bank which she can withdraw immediately. Even the 800k visa money i will switch to the 65k a month.

    My tgf just lost her fob for a Honda 150i. The dealer, in Pattaya, charged 1500 for a replacement. 3k is definitely a rip off.

    They can't forecast a week ahead let alone 4 months. But they got one thing right it gets hotter in summer.

    I used to use Excel until they tried to charge me so switched to LibreOffice Calc. Just as good if not better and free.

    A person would fall 290 feet in under 4 seconds. Is that enough time for a parachute to deploy AND slow you down.

    That's why, if possible, all assets should be transferred before you die. If you moved from the 800k in bank to 65k a month transfer then all your assets could be transferred.

    There was a recent article in the UK about thieves taking credit cards from gym locker rooms and going on a spending spree. Personally i would never leave anything of value or importance in a public locker.
