  1. Never filed a TM30 at my office and done about 40 90 day reports. Not all offices require it. 🙂
  2. The OP says visa on arrival, did you check his nationality? you seem very quick to give half answers without knowing facts
  3. Most likely this will not work, the embassy/consulate will see that they already had a Non-B for that company and just tell them to extend in Thailand.
  4. Yep, but that was posted AFTER you posted that there was no seasoning requirement, at the time you posted, the OP had not stated which office he was using. 🙂
  5. To clarify, UNLESS, you use Jomtien, they do require 2 months seasoning.
  6. You would not be renewing your visa at an embassy/consulate, you would be applying for a new one. Chances are you would be refused another Non-B as they would tell you to extend your permission of stay in Thailand. Your employer should help you with all the paperwork for the extension, and so while it may take a day of your time, it would give you a years stay. Hundreds of people every day use CW for employment extensions, they seem to cope, I am sure you would too.
  7. There must have been a reason they did that to you, in 16 years here it has never happened to me, in fact my contract just changed from 1 to 2 years.
  8. So you give incorrect advice, (according to what things are actually called). Troubling that you think your customers are too stupid to know the difference! I would suggest you are an a$$hole who takes customers for a ride.
  9. Show me a picture of a cancelled visa then. You do it so often you should have one readily available. (It would seem that you don't know the difference between a visa and an extension of stay). To get any Non-immigrant visa inside Thailand requires you to either be on a visa exempt entry or a tourist visa (TM86/87), your "clients" would be on neither, so even with 21 days it would be impossible for them to be issued an in country Non-immigrant visa. Sorry to burst your bubble, but 16 years here in Thailand, (have not even stepped foot in the UK in that time) 🙂
  10. You are clearly unaware of the huge difference between a native speaker of English and a fluent Thai. There is a reason pay a premium for native speakers.
  11. That would make absolutely no difference whatsoever.
  12. Jeez, it has not even been gazetted yet!
  13. Slightly incorrect, you cancel the work permit first, then take the letter Labour give you and go to immigration to cancel your extension (visas are not cancelled) Incorrect, if you want the extra 7 days you have to apply and pay for an "extension denied"
  14. Good point and to answer you I refer you to the first post I made that was not in response to the OP, but to a poster who posted incorrect information. My post was mildly relevant as it did refer to cancelling extensions of stay. Just pointing out that sometimes you do have to cancel an extension to prevent problems down the line. 🙂
  15. Try leaving with an extension of stay based on work (without cancelling it), and then coming back in to try and get another same/different extension.
  16. The official divorce rate for Thailand is very low on average. Much lower than the US or even Australia for that matter. The official divorce rate for Thailand is 0.058 per 10,000 people. This is low compared to the US with 53 per 10,000 people or 2.5 per 10,000 people in Australia.
  17. This is untrue, leaving the country does not void a valid permission of stay automatically, (as many people have found out).
  18. As the child does not live with you , you will not get that extension, that is one of the rules Guessing you and your ex-wife had the child together, so legitimization is a non-issue The rules state max age 20, but some people seem to have got the extension after that age.
  19. Do you have a link for that? Certainly not mentioned on any of the many websites I checked yesterday.
  20. The law says you should be paid for public holidays.
  21. Honda Click 160 = 157cc PCX = 156.9 Seems your massage girl should stick to what she does know.
  22. Come on! The local Thai community couldn't give a rat's ass about it.
  23. Somebody is lying to you, to get a little extra cash out of you to pay this 'debt'.
  24. Not much use for all those retirees that keep the 800k in a separate account, and if immigration ask " that is my only account officer, my wife supports me/i live off the cash savings I brought with me 10 years ago".
