  1. Lots of fresh tumeric here served with dips. But it is the white tumeric. Called Kamin in Thai, ขมิ้น
  2. He might just be a proxy for the real leader. Anyway I wouldn't mind renting to him when he gets released.
  3. My wife is usually with me. She has a couple of bodyguards, Smith & Wesson.
  4. I'm waiting until they have flying cars. That should be interesting.
  5. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/keto-real-deal-bread-pamita-i2564865364-s9129885553.html? I tried it. Didn't care for it much. Kind of a chewy texture. But it was a little better when toasted. There are some others for sale too from other bakers. Lots of youtube videos about making Keto Bread.
  6. You think like that, probably because you don’t live here. What you will find is many people crave routine. I've lived here over 10 years.
  7. More of a defamation thing than a culture thing. That said most doctors protect each other.
  8. I guess if you don't have enough money to go out and travel around and just do the same routine everyday you are going to get bored. Even if you go back to your home country.
  9. From the linked article: "Afterwards, the relatives brought a coffin to the site of the incident. Upon opening the coffin lid, villagers discovered the number 370 and the deceased’s age, 49, which prompted lottery enthusiasts to prepare for the upcoming draw." It's funny how someones misfortune is supposed to bring fortune to others.
  10. On the Thaiger link click the Tiktok link of the user that posted it. Here: Dragon dance video
  11. Maybe some food allergies. I have a lot of them and sometimes vomit from it.
  12. Can't you go to the dealer and have them show you? Most dealers have a person who's job is showing new owners how everything works.
  13. I see plenty of them where I live. I guess you are talking about those working in the sex tourist areas. You could say the same thing about the women that work there. Once they reach a certain age it is time to move on.
  14. She could have just rode on. No one was harmed. But she had to follow after him and escalate it.
  15. First thing you should have done is check the meter reading with what the bill shows. It's a shame they keep your meter locked up.
  16. You don't have any relatives here that might be able to help you?
  17. He should have got a written contract for the work first too.
  18. Just another Thai driver that doesn't know how to avoid an inanimate object in the road.
  19. My wife. Over 40 years ago. Even now, in her 70's, she still looks pretty good.
  20. 7 3 (number of coins and torches) needed for lottery information.
  21. The solution is simple. Pass a law making breathing illegal when PM2.5 levels are too high.
  22. I've stayed at JC@Suanpaak a couple of times. Despite being very close to the airport it was quite quiet. Nice place but their breakfast wasn't very good.
  23. My PEA bill this month averaged 4.3 baht/unit. That's including all the taxes and a credit on the bill.
  24. I have never had to take a written test for my Thai license. The last time I renewed my 5 year license I had to watch a 45 minute video. The video did have some review questions in it but I never had to answer them. This was about 2 years ago. Just have to do the vision and reflex tests. For Thai's, like my wife, they now have an online course/test they have to take and pass before going in to get the actual renewal.
