  1. And about what 80% of the population makes here.
  2. As long as you don't have a reentry permit it would be canceled.
  3. If you are talking about the water from sinks, showers, etc. (not the toilets) there is usually a drain pipe around the perimeter of the lot. They normally have junctions with covers(Thais call them 'ballparks') about every 10 meters. You can open the lids and see if there is any blockage in them first. I don't think a septic truck would deal with this. You would probably have to find some construction type people to clear it for you.
  4. The opposition will control the house and that is it. PM and Senate will be the old guard. Lots of people here let the euphoria of the election results make them forget the reality of the situation. Looks like Anutin will be the next PM.
  5. I feed our dogs Prowild. It comes in 2 varieties lamb or tuna. On lazada it is 1,300-1,400 baht for 15KG. No corn, wheat, or soy. And no added salt. https://www.facebook.com/Prowildofficial/
  6. Plants are living creatures too.

    Thai beef

Yes. I used to buy it at Kasetsart University in Kamphaeng Saen. It was the closest to my home. But they closed down the butcher store there. Now I have to drive to Nonthaburi to get it. They do have a delivery service but it is very expensive, 5 baht per kilometer.
  8. I'm glad they caught him. Sick bastard.

    Thai beef

KU beef has a grade of beef they call wagyu. It has a lot of marbling in it.
  10. I don't think the ballots are anonymous here, like in other countries. My wife said her name was printed on the ballot she received.
  11. Except they don't have enough votes in the house to overcome the 250 in the senate. Lots of people seem to be missing that point. Anutin, Prawit, and Prayut have 147 votes plus the 250 senate votes. So 397 total. If all the other parties agree to vote together that would give them 353 votes total. And if the democrat party goes with the current leaders that will move it another 25 votes in the wrong direction. So the oppostion may control the house but they don't control the PM.
  12. At Ratchaburi IO they started asking for a copy of the TM 30 about 3 years ago to get an extension. This year they asked me how come mine was so old but then dropped/forgot about it.

    Thai beef

KU beef is very good. Either the 5 star or wagyu grades. You have to buy a whole section to get the best price. Like rib eye you have to buy about a 4 kilo piece. But they will slice it how you want it and vacuum seal it for free. You can search on google maps for their locations, ku beef.
  14. The local pharmacist I use gives me free stuff fairly often.
  15. That ought to keep the police busy for awhile.
  16. I thought it was because most thai's like the cold coffees. Really hot coffee would melt all the ice rather quickly.
  17. You'll have to wait until the 16th to find out. That's tomorrow right now. The problem is that millions of Thai's get these messages. So some of them are bound to be fulfilled.
  18. Well now we will get to see what really happens. I wouldn't get to excited yet. The constitution was rewrote to really try and prevent others from getting in. Plus the person at the top of it all may have a bigger say in this if he is not happy with how things are going.
  19. Almost unbelievable that they are allowed to use them. How about being compensated for just general wear and tear.
  20. cold weather means less water in the air. So the colder months will be less humid than the warmer ones. That's why it's called relative humidity.
  21. There seems to be an issue with bouncers in Phuket.
