Netflix’s password sharing restriction has come to Thailand
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in IT and Computers
What about using a VPN? -
It is probably all about the advanced technology, and the fact the US does not want it compromised to China or anyone else.

Crazy Amounts New Yorkers spend to live
bkk6060 replied to LaosLover's topic in ASEAN NOW Community Pub
Well sure, same in California. How about day spas for dogs and cats where they get massages. -
People on holiday probably don't care much about the prices if they want to get high. Yes, there is a glut but what about the glut of bars for many years a number of them with few if any customers. But, new bars seem to open up consistently.

Probably my lack of cultural interest, but I thought the Wat was boring after 20 minutes. Like most temples or cathedral, just seems to be repetitive. Siem Reap has other interesting things to do the best time I had was renting an ATV and cruising off road. Pub street, cheap massage, good food and some ladies there to date if you are single. 3 days there is about right, but a 3 day Wat pass seems like a waste.

If Big Joke ordered it, it may actually be enforced now. Sad though, the majority of them do not cause a problem in fact some of the best girls I have met are from BR. They are mostly just people trying to make money to support their families.

Pai? Maybe at some point, but my last visit a few months ago it was full of hippie looking backpackers blowing weed all day and eating pizza then, getting drunk at night yelling and screaming and vomiting in the streets. Charming to some I guess.

This is what tourists to Hua Hin will look like in 2033

A very intellectual study in my opinion kind of clueless they expect all these tech savy folks with money to come here? Good luck. -
Thailand’s Election Results May Reverse Cannabis Policy
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
I bet it stays just will be more regulated. Should be interesting to see. -
An xray will show broken bones and maybe some growth, but an MRI is a true way to find deeper issues. Could be an impingment or partial rotator cuff tear. Going to the gym with a bad shoulder can be counter productive. Do you have pain while sleeping or lifing smaller objects like a coffee cup? I would seek a Doctor and get some physical therapy. Possibly a cortisone shot also.

Another coffee shop near my hotel bites the dust.
bkk6060 replied to steven100's topic in General Topics
The hotter the better for me boiling is ok. As far as no good cheap coffee I know of a few places that serve 30 b cups. But, the most consistent freshly ground hot cup is 7-11. I believe it is 30 b for Americano and they will add fresh milk no extra cost. It so so much better then a Starbucks which is such a joke makes people think they are hiso I guess taking selfies with their lousy 150b coffee. -
Teenage boy bitten by rat at food court in Bangkok shopping mall
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Another reason I never wear open toe sandels, rats everywhere just a bite away from ruining your day. -
Over? Not here it appears mask wearing and paranoia still seem prevalent. All these people alone in their cars masked? Interesting if you watch some Thai workers in shops/malls or public places. They will pull their mask down usually around other Thais. But. if Falang walk near they will pull it up. Certainly seems some paranoid assumptions about foreigners exist.

I think I completely missed the point about (not) having kids
bkk6060 replied to Celsius's topic in Family and Children
Good and bad about kids. There are windows of enjoyable time. Babies for me were not fun. Teenagers can be real AH and extend it to College and they want money. Then, they get married and are mostly too busy to see you. If from a place like the U.S., most kids put their old parents in a home they don't want to take care of them. -
Pattaya Anticipates 600,000 Indian Tourists This Year
bkk6060 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
I prefer Indian people over some others. Yes, they so walk in groups. On the sidewalks, streets, sometimes in the middle of a small soi clogging up traffic. But, they generally seem pretty quiet and not out to cause a major problem. I find it funny how many Thai ladies claim they do not go with man India. Yet, a lot of the India men are going into shops off Soi Buakhao and Thai ladies walking around the malls holding hands with man India. -
90 % of the old guys walking around Pattaya have fatty liver. Not just lifestyle, but age is a factor. Get all the other tests needed to confirm issues I bet you will be fine and don't need a liver, just try to manage it.

I always wanted to open a bar so I could interview potential staff. You know, like those couch audition videos. Anyway, It is probably a great investment should make good money, I would suggest to him that he buy 2 bars.

Nothing new in Wongamat. The plot looks like a good location (on the beach about mid way) and the photos of the plan look nice. Icon in Jomtien would be a major improvement there and raise the prices of property and be great for the locals. They have been talking about it for 4 years I would be surprised if it is going soon. Even if it does, it would be several years before it opens. Hope it does at some point. The other rumor is for Bang Saray of an Asiatique there. I cannot see it though.
