I suspect history is not your strong point, but mass migration in Britain started in earnest in the post-war years and without it the country would have never have fully recovered after World War 2. Migration was actively encouraged by all parties to re-build the economy. You might also be unfamiliar with Britain's role in colonising half the world! As Britain decolonized in Africa, the Caribbean, and Asia, many people with British citizenship or ties to the UK migrated for better economic opportunities or to escape instability. Maybe some disapproved but I'm sure they hadn't disapproved of the colonisation and the Empire. Now admittedly the next wave in 2004 after EU expansion might not have been approved by all; and ended up with Brexit. However, migration since Brexit has not declined much! Anyway, I hope this helps.

Very strange. Did they 'void' it in her passport or is it all done electronically? Did they give a reason? It's difficult enough getting a US visa for a Thai tourist, but to be successful and then have it arbitrarily cancelled in the US is astonishing.

Why would they do that? Muslims only represent 6.5% of the UK population.

As @fredwiggy has said, that looks like it's for applying for a Thai passport. My wife has taken my (British) son overseas many times without me before and nothing has ever been said at the airport/s.

Does your daughter have a Thai passport? If so, I can't see any issue with her travelling from Thailand with her Thai mother. I doubt there's anything the British Embassy can or will do.

Millions "will" suffer? Millions have been suffering from this pollution for decades! Thanks to AQI monitors and social media, these days people are aware about it. In previous decades people just got on with life and accepted their reduced like expectancy.

Yes, I can see why it's not to everyone's taste; it's not an easy watch. I didn't find it entertaining either. I found it profoundly moving and thought-provoking and cried like a baby at the end. Without a doubt, it's one of the most important TV series of recent years, with astonishing performances, direction and camera work. Will be talked about in years to come.

She's gorgeous in it, but so far, hasn't been featured much. Aimee Lou Wood and her teeth are great!
