While this is likely true, another contributing factor is the fact that there is generally massive public backlash whenever anyone proposes getting tough on traffic related crime (with the exception, I think, of drink/drug driving). Lack of enforcement is what causes it, but there is very little public support for that changing. We're talking about a society that praises traffic police for making children riding four-up on a scooter without helmets do squats as punishment before being sent on their way.

It's quite amazing when you watch a YouTuber as some noise in the background while you do something else, only to find out that they make a decent living from it. I don't think I would ever pay for it.

Not uncommon, sadly. Customer service isn't really a thing in Thailand. They don't want you bothering them or touching their merchandise unless you are definitely going to buy.

Everything that I have said is well established fact. If you had even a passing interest in the truth of the Israel/Palestine conflict, you would know this. Let's be honest, you know it's a fact, you just don't want it to be true/don't want people to know it.

You could also argue that Israel caused this by occupying Palestinian land, ethnically cleansing Palestinians, and forcing Palestinians that remained to live under apartheid conditions in their own territory. Two sides to every story... 🤷‍♂️

The point is, if someone cannot say that they disagree with something someone else has said without losing their job, then there is a problem. People seem to have decided that one group has the "right" opinion and anyone who disagrees or even questions them has the "wrong" opinion and needs to be "cancelled". That isn't someone simply facing the consequences of their actions. No wonder there has been such a huge backlash against wokeness. And long may it continue.

If people are shooting each other on the streets, it isn't a family friendly place. I'm not sure how you don't understand that. And yes, Pattaya being "family friendly" is obviously a bogus claim. The night time economy and the lack of safety make that fairly obvious. Someone was just mowed down crossing the road the other day. People do take their families there, sure, but they no doubt know the risks and plan accordingly.

If they dismantle Hamas and the international community rebuilds Gaza, how are the Israelis going to justify the apartheid moving forward? I don't think that Israel is going to allow any kind of permanent fix, unless it means the Palestinians are not allowed back.

A family friendly resort is not one where you cannot walk the streets at 3am due to possible violent incidents, even if one wouldn't take their family out at that time. If someone was staying with their family nearby, and were awoken by the sound of fighting and gunshots, would you explain to them, "Don't worry, it's outside and you don't take your family outside at 3am, this is a family friendly resort!"?
