Bank account on overstay
The OP has started threads since March on overstay.... eg here. https://aseannow.com/topic/1354690-divorce-on-overstay/

Best nearby country to get a new Non B visa
Where are you located in Thailand.

How does Bangkok Bank work for retirees who have a pension?
I think it's a BBL thing. If you end up trying to open a Kasikorn account could you report back your experience. Obviously you have current extension from a Non O. Take lease along if you have one and even TDL if it has your current address. Hopefully they would not ask for COR

Best to leave via airport to clear up overstay. 500b per day up to max 20k baht + any ban penalty as per attached chart.

How is visa exempt entry?
Doubt the account without details.

Why oh why can't we go back
I can see your point. Certainly there is lot of USA politics. Think admin introduced "political soapbox" forum to provide a forum for the back and forth that politics often brings. Personally I avoid many forums. For a time it was the TAX debates. We have in recent years... Covid, Vaccine debates, USA politics, Tax (possible changes)..etc List goes on. Think the "Visa, work permits.. " forum tries to keep topics on track and provide information.

Another Visa Question…
Yes. This is the point OP needs to be aware of. Doing this prior to travel to Thailand.

Thinking of using Siamese Visa Service for a Retirement Visa.
Indeed. I added wrong link (slip up) Hopefully the OP will obtain first hand advice for pathway from current PE (soon to expire) to Non O (retirement) . Thinking he may need to exit Thailand. Good thing is he has financials in place and thai bank account. Perhaps there is better option however he could obtain Non O outside of Thailand. Then simply obtain 12 month extension ongoing after entry with the Non O

Another Visa Question…
There are certain things you need to prepare regarding proof of marriage while in USA prior to travel to Thailand. Also as pointed out by @Liquorice above you then have your marriage registered in Thailand.

thai person with expired thai passport
OP, correct advice above. Insist on her entering Thailand on expired Thai pp. If enters on US passport will be subject to visa exempt stamp entry etc. Have her renew Thai pp here in Thailand and not in USA prior travel. Quick process.

Bangkok Bank - No yellow book, no new account
Not really interested in any rules Canada may have. I was replying to alternative to BBL. The similarities to BBL regarding using WISE is Kasikorn. Both those banks WISE allows Max 2 mil per transfer. Some banks the max is 500k.

You seem to have all in place to shift from PE to Non O. Here is thread re change to Non B. Hopefully you do not need to exit Thailand for the process. https://aseannow.com/topic/1329066-switching-from-thaielite-visa-to-non-immigrant-b-with-workpermit-for-employment/

OK. Your situation is specific. Some would think that contacting PE company would be first step however some posts have stated they can be unhelpful. @richard_smith237 may have some advice. Also you mention that you actually have the required funds for obtaining the Non O + subsequent annual extensions. Location in Thailand?

How does Bangkok Bank work for retirees who have a pension?
When did WISE provide this advice? My last transfer from my Oz a/c to Kasikorn account using WISE was 14th Aug. Took seconds. (instant)

Will new 50k max bank transfer impact 65k for Immi?
OP has his advice. Thread closed.

Will new 50k max bank transfer impact 65k for Immi?
Seems along with others you have misunderstood the content of the OP. The op is confused. He is asking about transfees from his Thai bank to wife's Thai bank. Zero to do with immigration for eg extensions. In any event for extensions he is using income method.

You need to answer the questions in the first post above for complete advice. Added question to those already suggested. : do you have Thai bank bank account in your name only. : are you planning to supply own money for financial compliance.

Another Visa Question…
And for example this question. I searched "open Thai bank account with a Non O AseanNow" And one thread (of many) here... https://aseannow.com/topic/1365077-how-to-open-a-bank-account-in-2025/ In addition to AseanNow you can google things such as "marriage visa Thailand" and there will be various sites with advice eg... Thailand Marriage Visa | ThaiEmbassy.com https://share.google/r78e1mlVMuI8D9CRY

Another Visa Question…
In that case 100% obtain the Non O in USA prior to entering Thailand. You will receive a 90 day stamp. As example of answer how to search. For your situation I just now googled "non O marriage eVisa in USA aseannow" The results list AseanNow threads along with other sites. Here is one result. Hit on the link and read various posts.

Another Visa Question…
You can obtain a Non O (marriage) eVisa while in US. Best option. Dont bother with Non O-A. Simple way is to use Google with added word "aseannow" That will take you to threads, that often explains what you're after. In addition there are threads where helpful folk with post links to additional threads. Hit on the link and that takes you to the thread.

Will new 50k max bank transfer impact 65k for Immi?
He doesn't do that. He transfers monthly from abroad to his Thai bank account in his name only. He then transfers the funds to his Thai wife account. I do exactly the same. There is a ATM front of our condo. The funds hit my Thai account (in seconds using WISE) ... then the Thai partner transfers the funds out of my account into hers. The side bonus is only minimal funds remain in my account.
