  1. You could even get 60 visa exempt entry + 30 day extension+ 60 extension to visit wife. Stick with the extension based on marriage.
  2. Even with appointment you still go to que desk far right side and show lady your application form and and appointment confirmation. She will write time and desk # In my case she actually picked up phone to the two desks handling TM47. Added tip...if anyone needs a COR at CW (no appointments for that service) you can process application for the COR at same time as your 90 report is processed. IO will even photocopy the TM47 for your COR application same desk.
  3. Which immigration office provided COR on same day.
  4. Worked for you in Korat so must be possible however I believe the OP is obtaining DL in Bangkok.
  5. Topic covered. Thread closed.
  6. Not visa related. Here is old thread . https://aseannow.com/topic/710555-things-to-doplaces-to-seeeat-in-vientiane/
  7. https://aseannow.com/topic/1327627-uk-passport-renewal-time/
  8. Would he be obtaining the TDL in Bangkok. If yes he requires a TM47
  9. OP, you require a certificate of residence. To obtain a COR at CW you would need to have made a 90 day report..
  10. Some discussion of options in this thread https://aseannow.com/topic/1312040-border-bounces/ What is location you will set off from. eg Bangkok, Pattaya? etc. Forget about eVisa
  11. OP, did you provide TM30. What docs did you provide. Here is appointment link for next time. https://bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/onlineservice-and-publicguide/
  12. Without specific reports or naming Visa run company with quoted prices, thread pretty pointless

  15. Not all immigration offices do. Certainly CW does not. Here is list on "transfer form" Obviously tm6 is no longer required. Note: in addition some offices asking for updated bank book and photocopies of pages back to date of extension. The thread I posted earlier has link to form and detailed report from OP.
  16. Geez. A day either way. . BTW : he did not arrive July 16 Pedantic for what reason The point of post from helpful member was that he received 60 day stamp
  17. Thanks for confirmation. Calculator site states... "Your starting date is June 16, 2021 so that means that 59 days later would be August 14, 2021. Seems they calculated from Aug 13. In any event confirms change to visa exempt entry
  18. As @Caldera posted this above., I cut post his post.... "The limits remain unchanged by the ministerial order that went into effect yesterday and that has been published for all to sees so as before, there's a hard limit of two overland visa exempt entries per calendar year, and no official limit for visa exempt entries by air" Completely correct. The limit 2 entries per year via air was posted in error even on few Thai consulate sites. Think UK was one.
  19. This "change" to 60 days for many countries has nothing to do with the countries that had 90 day visa exempt entry.
  20. No. Follow OP list. If using monthly transfers you should consider obtaining 12 month bank statement.
  21. Clearly you are not following all the posts in thread you started. A limit of 2 entries per calendar year via air would be ridiculous. Many folk do not use visa exempt to max out time spent in Thailand. Many come form nearby countries for very short periods. Good example Singapore. A limit of 2 entries via air would be impractical and stupid. So yes directly related to thread.
