Buying a Dog
Now you have me confused. I assumed you were having a stir. Pit Bull ownership is very divisive topic. One thing is for sure. If I was your my neighbor and you purchased a Pit Bull you would in go straight into my looney bin. They are a threatening dog and even when fenced are territorial and in general unsettling. Not for owner or owners children until day they snap. Plenty of Soi dogs in Thailand. Adopt one and will end up lovely companion. Places like Soi Dog Foundation in Phuket just one example. Equivalent exists throughout Thailand.

Buying a Dog
A question mark. You kidding. Try Google "list of countries that ban pit bull dogs' Even in USA check out how many cannot obtain home insurance if having bit bulls. Check out deaths and maulings from pit bulls. One born every minute (not referring to dog, referring to owners) Enough.

Buying a Dog
You are one of those. They are legal in USA. No surprise there. Illegal in so many other countries. For a good reason. My guess is troll thread. You want a pit bull then easy to find.

Moving from (non) F visa to (non) O visa.
eVisa now. Changed start of 2025. Better option already outlined

Moving from (non) F visa to (non) O visa.
Here is one of many threads that outlines process from visa exempt to non O retirement and subsequent 12 month extension.

Moving from (non) F visa to (non) O visa.
Thinking best to run your plan past your immigration office. Tell them you plan exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt and then obtain Non O. Will your non O be based on marriage or retirement. If retirement check what they want re financials.

It's Time to Change the Annual Visa Extension Approval Process
Yes same everywhere. Referred to as "under consideration period". The date they give you to return for final stamp generally accurate however not always. You can check with your immigration office to see if ready.

It's Time to Change the Annual Visa Extension Approval Process
The officer would have zero interest. I can recall my mother referring to "Change Management" in her company. That was 50+ years ago. Thai do not use this in immigration. Surely they do in manufacturing sector etc. Without it there is never improvement in productivity. Sadly when immigration does try and change we get broken systems eg online TM47 etc

Moving from (non) F visa to (non) O visa.
Don't know what I'm missing. Why are you looking to obtain a SETV. You stated......"come back with a tourist visa (visa on arrival is not OK I think)" It's not visa on arrival it's visa exempt entry. Who told you that you must have a tourist visa. You can exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt. Are you looking to obtain a Non O retirement/marriage and subsequent 12 month extension? You can do that from visa exempt entry. Which immigration office?

Very confused about E visa system
Read post above this one. What do you currently have. A Non O marriage that gave you a 90 day stamp? As mentioned above, the visa is not renewed. Assuming you have a Non O marriage you need to prepare for obtaining a 12 month extension. (It's not a visa). The extension process has requirements.

Frustrated with Thai Immigration - 90 day online report frustrations
Do not understand how your particular situation is helpful. For many folk it's a long journey to immigration. The OP deals with CW. So folk travel abroad often and this in person TM47 is a burden and not previously required. The whole thing is a mess.

Very confused about E visa system

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
Direct helpful post to OP who is in Mukdahan not Bangkok

Nong Khai Border Bounce 2025
You stated the following.... "You may not have seen reports, I however have witnessed at least one person who was not given a 30 day extension, I am not certain that they were given a 7 day extension as I did not eavesdrop on the full conversation, they were denied a 30 day extension." As pointed out by myself and others.. A refused 30 day extension is common place. Generally doesn't get past the document check girls. Most common would be not providing a TM30. That would amount to returning with correct paperwork for the 30 day extension. Your account is joining dots where there are none.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
Bottom line is that for a few things such as license renewal, open bank account etc a certificate of residence is required.. End of.

Changing from a non o based on retirement to non o based on marriage
Where did "couple of days in Vientiane to get a visa " come from. What type of visa are you referring to? Non O marriage? All visas obtained in Laos are now eVisa. The timeframe for approval at this point uncertain.

Read the posts from others above yours. Not just mine. Your post is incorrect.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
From the OP.... "I’m currently staying in Mukdahan, right across the border, with my girlfriend" So Bangkok agent of no help. Also how can your agent assist? The well know agents in Bangkok such as Fatboys and BSK bikes do not assist with COR.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
Some immigration offices yes. Some no. Read post above yours. I have obtained few certificate of residence at CW. Never supplied TM30. Previously they wanted a TM47 receipt
-
Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
You will need to obtain a COR. Hopefully immigration will accept a TM30 or lease. If you have your most recent TM47 that may even suffice
-
Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
You require a certificate of residence. TM30 perhaps required for the COR at immigration. Which immigration office?

I think something is on my Thai record. part2
You started a thread that I closed. Vague at best. Suggest you attend immigration if desperate for clarification. Local immigration office can swipe pp and inform you if you were flagged for some reason. Doubt it. Sounds like jumping at shadows. Fact is you were admitted into Thailand. Also seems you were excluded from some accommodation in Krabi. You stated.... "Anyways i notice when i get into immigration the officers eyes lit up and read something on the screen, then said something well ok i 'll let you in with hesitation" The io used the word "hesitation". NO did not.

Thai Driver’s License Expiring Soon – Visa Options?
Seriously. The OP also indicated he was considering ED visa. He may not live anywhere long term. Perhaps using Thailand as a base.. I have a TDL and a AU driving license. I could elect to drop the Oz license and use my TDL when in some other countries.
