  1. That would kill off the non O and he would need to start over. However might be only option
  2. Yes they provide 200b service fee if you want. Yes same service as Suvarnabhumi They are very quick. My last one was peak season and first time ever there was large que. They got through them super quick. The office is just past immigration control.
  3. You have same issue with 60 day extension. Child must be with you. https://aseannow.com/topic/1155570-visa-exempt-entry-can-be-extended-for-60-days-visit-family/
  4. My guess is that would have solved the issue
  5. Sorry to read that. As you would be aware. Despite your wife passing...your non O multi entry visa remains valid till expiry. You need to look to next step
  6. No. Enough. You do not understand the process.
  7. The OP applied for extension based on retirement not marriage. Your post is off topic.
  8. Excellent report. Thankyou. Just to clarify. You did not provide TM30. What you provide for address? Lease?
  9. You are missing something. Often the return date for final stamp can be beyond current permission of stay. You will NOT be on overstay.
  10. Bit off topic...if you are located Bangkok consider run to Saigon. Especially if your pp provides visa exempt entry to Vietnam. Bit biased as I love the joint for a weekend+
  11. The under consideration period stamp is often not within expiry of current permission of stay. When you receive that stamp you will not be on overstay even if permit in pp expires. If you need to exit Thailand during the under consideration period that's a topic in itself. Possible however requires advice.
  12. It's disappointing that you were put through the ringer. Even more so with a valid multi non O.
  13. No. I was correcting another post. You can apply for a non O in Thailand from visa exempt or tourist visa. For that process you require 15+ days remaining on permit. Some offices eg CM require 21. You are not applying for a non O. You are asking about applying for extension. That can be done any time prior to expiry of your permission of stay
  14. So you exited Thailand and reentered with a 90 day stamp.
  15. The extension is added to your current permission of stay.
  16. You are referring to 60 day extension to visit wife. That can be done anytime prior to expiry of current permit.. As usual unless inconvenient best to apply with few days early
  17. No. You need 15+ days remaining on permission of stay to apply for a Non O. The OP is asking about applying for 12 months extension. The 30 days you refer to is under consideration period. He can apply anytime prior to expiry of his current permission of stay
  18. No. https://aseannow.com/topic/1272122-2022-updated-requirements-and-or-process-for-extension-based-on-marriage/
  19. No. In any event you can obtain credit advice that the funds into savings came from abroad. Same bank for the 2 accounts I assume
  20. Thanks for detailed report. Will be useful to many..
  21. Transfer the 800k prior to applying for the non O into savings account. After you obtain the non O, transfer funds from the savings account into the FD account. 60 days+ later apply for 12 month extension..
  22. That is correct however that's not your situation. I'm not all that familiar with BOI so hopefully others can advise you.
  23. Visas are not cancelled. You had a single entry non O. It was "used" upon entry to Thailand. The stamp you were given was a 90 day permission of stay. The subsequent 60 day extension to visit wife was another temporary permission of stay. Nothing more to state on this topic. Also a new passport does not erase any history.
  24. You are being told nonsense. You entered Thailand on a single entry non O. Then obtained a 60 day extension. Subsequently exited and reentered visa exempt. There is nothing to cancel.
  25. There is 2 older threads that agree with your post. Won't post links. Best advice to OP is to attend immigration for horses mouth advice.
