  1. Many have received rejection and asked to report in person. Especially if having returned from trip out of Thailand.
  2. That has always been case with online reporting.(lose days) If you do via mail 15 days prior to due date the next due date is current due date + 90.
  3. History lesson not required. The tread is about visa exempt entry at Nong Khai. A member posted the following..... "Have you heard of any reports of people being refused a 30 day extension on their Visa exempt stamp" Answer: currently you will be given a 30 day extension. Cost 1900b . Obviously some docs may be required eg TM30. You stated....."If criteria is met, no extension application would be rejected." Pretty much in agreement.
  4. Yes. I have pointed out previously that folk can try to obtain boarding pass without onward flight and if not accepted by airline, you can step away and either book flight via website I posted or cheapest throw away flight ticket. Airlines are (can be) fined. That is their concern.
  5. There is talk of "electronic travel authorization" ETA however anyone's guess when that will be introduced. If you require onward flight for airline you could consider companies such as "onward ticket.com" $16 usd And yes present your boarding pass with passport at immigration. Arrival card TM6 no longer required.
  6. Pretty much what you stated. Some recommend that you have 20k baht or equivalent currency. Rarely asked for. The airline at departure may require onward flight.
  7. Current duplicate thread running. Will close this one
  8. The deposit on the day of application serves as an update. Note OP: There is minimum deposit for FD account. Most banks is 1000b
  9. More importantly it needs to be paid at Savannakhet consulate at this stage in person. The time for processing is not clear. Also the OP (absent) stated... "I not have the financial requirements (400K)" Don't really follow the strategy. With no funds for 12 month extension he would be best off obtaining visa exempt entry 60 + 60 day extension to visit wife and sort out finances. Never understand issue with financial requirements for extensions based on marriage. Such a basic requirement especially compared to retirement.
  10. You posted same thread on Dec 15. You had one reply. Mine. You did not follow up with any further questions. Engage in your thread if looking for advice.
  11. Didn't they allow foreign insurance policy unless .... "The applicant must submit a completed, signed, and stamped Foreign Insurance Certificate" This possible catch 22 if foreign company will not provide same.
  12. Think you are correct. My point earlier was that having a Non O cuts ties for extensions to insurance. Having a Non O you can choose the exact amount of insurance along with company or self insure. Of course if doing extensions from a Non O-A and based on marriage then no insurance is required. Attached is recent thread that was discussing possible changes to insurance requirements. https://aseannow.com/topic/1339513-any-news-on-the-inurance-requirment-for-oa-visa/
  13. I was addressing what you thought io was stating in order to refuse you entry. In any event you were successful after stay night/s in Laos. This sends alarm bells to border bounces. Lot of folk celebrating when visa exempt via land became "unlimited," Perhaps some cold water has been thrown on that.
  14. Applying for Non O in Thailand from visa exempt or tourist visa entry does not require a flight out of Thailand. Think about it. Most folk obtaining the Non O at local immigration office in Thailand intend to obtain subsequent 12 month extension. Perhaps no plan to return "home country"
  15. Good. The pic I posted earlier (not taken by me) can you confirm that is current pic that you will attend.. Also if you opt for service fee that is smoothe. My last reentry permit at DMK it was actually tad busy. Seemed I was only one with filled in TM8 pic attached
  16. Do they have 200b "service fee" option at CNX as they do at BKK and DMK where the form and filling in and photo is all provided? Single is 1000b 1900 b is for extensions
  17. https://aseannow.com/topic/1347328-nong-khai-border-bounce-avoid/
  18. Is this when you do not enter visa Zone 2. Some folk using fast track lane (not available zone 2) turn left after passport control and walk to Zone 2. Where is the "new desk/office" for reentry permit
  19. A payment to expedite same day bounce does not equate to illegal entry to another country via boat.
  20. Post recent report of rejection of 30 day extension to a visa exempt or tourist visa entry. Simple. Otherwise your claim is pointless
  21. Removed off topic post regarding other countries
  22. That is 10 years ago. Also not sure of your particular situation at that time. Still better..post recent report of application for 30 day extension to visa exempt or tourist visa entry rejected. Obviously not down to paperwork eg TM30 etc Waiting
  23. In another of your threads you ask about filming in shopping centers. Think I have probable cause. Not all "western countries" are the same. You could also ask in which Western countries can you refuse a random breath test. Random means no requirement for reason to require a test drug/alcohol
  24. Correct. Think SR services was mentioned earlier. That will guarantee entry even with solid history. I don't regard it as cheap however its safe.
