  1. It is very clear, change of tm30 rules june 2020 that in your example it is not required. There are few immigration offices playing their own game.. Outlined here in OP specifically 2.2 https://aseannow.com/topic/1169664-thai-immigration-announce-changes-to-tm30-reporting/
  2. Some posts from ubonjoe in this thread. https://aseannow.com/topic/1227491-change-from-non-o-to-non-b-without-leaving/
  3. You entered with a reentry permit? If that's the case you do not need to make a TM30
  4. That topic has been discussed often. Common recommendation is "onwardflight.com"
  5. As far as I'm aware most immigration offices require this. Including CW. Which office do you deal with that does not insist on these 3 forms
  6. No. To apply for the Non O with the 400k in your bank on day of application. That process is outlined in link I posted earlier. The fact that you have a Thai bank account in your name only makes it easy process in your situation . As for time constraint you can obtain a 60 day extension "to visit wife" from your visa exempt entry. The option of obtaining the Non O in country also good option.
  7. You have an option of entering Thailand visa exempt exempt and obtaining non O based on marriage at immigration in Thailand. Assume that you have a Thai bank account in your name only. Here is a thread that outlines that process... https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/
  8. You stated in the thread..... "And working offshore on a rotation job, this is not an option for me." Understand now ..... for guys on roster (eg oil gas) the Non O single entry with extensions can be a no go given under consideration period. Many years ago some guys using visa exempt with month on/off had an easy option.
  9. You keep referring WISE ACCOUNT. There is no reason to use Wise in your wife's name. Suggest you transfer the funds from your account (in ho.e country) to WISE who then transfer to your bank account. All online takes minutes.
  10. You can easily do comparison test. I have when buying real-estate. Your experience is different to mine. In any event been discussed many times in banking finance forum
  11. I don't recall that option. The last option states something like "living expenses for long stay"
  12. Is this about the proposed change to tax rules. In any event do the transfer from you bank account in home country to WISE and then onto your Thai bank account in your name
  13. WISE account? You reguster few basic details and away you go. Best to use WISE to transfer to your own Thai bank account. Make sure that you while in home country you discuss with your bank things such as daily transfer limits. Obviously you require online banking for your home country bank
  14. OP, just hand pp to io . Be aware of your expiry date of your reentry permit. As you walk away having been handed back the passport pause and check that the io stamped correct "admitted till date"
  15. Fantastic report. So clear. Will assist others. Personally wouldn't want to do that every year. Ever considered obtain annual extensions from a (single entry) Non O
  16. Disregard the TM6 field. Here is thread where the OP states that at Korat a TM30 is required. https://aseannow.com/topic/1299733-very-fast-and-easy-retirement-ext-at-korat-today/ At CW they are asking for most recent TM47 receipt.
  17. The forms you refer to re "aware of penalties " etc are available at immigration. Which immigration office. TM30 should not be required. Using Funds in bank or income method
  18. The suggestion of using an agent is reasonable, especially if mobility is an issue. Also depending on the immigration office . Find agent online, not difficult. Most have a pick up drop off service. Up to the individual.
  19. Actually from a Tourist Visa or visa exempt opening a Thai bank account is now difficult. If you obtain a single entry non o outside of Thailand then the Non O would help. However an agent for the bank account would be best option. Here is a thread that outlines .... entering Thailand visa exempt then obtaining non O (marriage) and subsequent 12 moth extension. It also Has links to similar threads. https://aseannow.com/topic/1315828-visa-exempt-to-90-day-non-o-spouse-visa-conversion-in-thailand/ You really need to be in the states to obtain a non O-A so don't believe that is your best option. To buy time you can apply for 30 day extension to visa exempt + a 60 day extension to visit wife. Good luck.
  20. For the single entry non O foreign account will be sufficient. However.that visa provides a 90 day permission of stay. You can obtain a 12 month extension however that requires 400k in Thai bank account and seasoned for 2 months. You will receive better advice if you outline your plan moving forward. Meaning how long you plan to live in Thailand year to year. For extensions the funds do not need to remain in bank. After extension is approved you can withdraw funds as you wish. Why is 400k an issue when you can use those funds. Different for retirement. Re the Thai bank account you could consider an agent. Which immigration office do you deal with. Once married you could obtain 60 day extension to visit wife. How old are you. 50+ ...? Asking for other options.
  21. OP, what's your plan after obtraining the non O . Are you asking about a single entry non O
  22. You can deposit into an FD account For most banks the minimum deposit is 1000b
  23. Off topic ....however might be useful to Oz folk. I just received new AU passport. Process was 21 days from posting application to AU embassy Bangkok and receiving passport at my my condo. I used mail option so no need to attend embassy.
