  1. OP, the post above has it covered. This is to draw your attention to point 1. Open a Thai bank account. That can be not as simple as one would imagine. Does he have an existing Thai bank account?
  2. Couple mentioned in this thread. You might have more luck in Chiang Mai forum.. https://aseannow.com/topic/1248449-seeking-recommendations-for-chiang-mai-visa-agent/
  3. Ok to return in June visa exempt would be no problem. The concern for immigration is back to back stays Your travel pattern does not fit that. No problem.
  4. Part of your post..... "2023, Flight in 30 day exempt in March."... It's now April. Where are you currently. If not in Thailand when did you depart?
  5. OP, slim it down You stated...flight IN visa exempt March. So that implies you are currently in Thailand? Then you also state fly into CM in June. What happens between visa exempt entry in March with possible extension and then where are you till June. Strange OP. Ever heard of a METV.
  6. I vaguely recall similar post where next report was shortened to extension due date. However that was for retirement. Please report back when you sort it all out.
  7. Understand. I avoid chit chat forums. I stick to this particular forum and sometimes visit forums such as Health forum. That forum is one of several with in the main serious feedback . Helps with mod such as @Sheryl
  8. Just bumping your OP as no replies. I don't think changing date to 2024 would help. Suggest you just attend immigration for you final stamp with print out of online rejection. Hopefully io can do a report on the spot without any fine. This question has come up previously.
  9. I won't pick out several incorrect posts above. Folk are misunderstanding the term "residency" in order to apply for certain visas. For example a USA citizen can also have permanent residence status in for example Japan. That person could apply for certain visas in both USA by providing ID page of pp. Or in Japan providing proof of permanent residence. So back to the OP passport ID is sufficient.
  10. Was that a typo for uninformative or my sarcasm alert is numb.
  11. OP, above posts correct. I understand your question and can add to your list Japan starting count on day After arrival. I only posted as Thai receive 15 day visa exempt to Japan that some folk may not be aware of and be of interest.
  12. Would assist others if you provided details of agent. Pick up at condo for that price point seems reasonable deal.
  13. Your post doesn't make sense. Thailand kept making covid extensions available beyond time when borders were open. Generous imo. Regards your reference to Chinese...they require a visa. I'm guessing you are able to enter visa exempt. That also was a generous increase to 45 days for a period of time. I recently went to Vietnam and only option to me (Oz) was single entry tourist visa 30 days. Check out all the options for trouble free stay in Thailand. METV easy and can provide up to 9 months. Hells Bells. Take a trip to most neighbouring countries. Just get a visa (required)
  14. OP, you have answers above with success. Think this is not about residential address. Passport identify page is what I would suggest.
  15. The TM6 field is not required since it was suspended for entry at airports.
  16. I also deal with CW. I did an online that was pending for a few days due to Songkran last year. I then got nervy and did a TM47 via mail which would have been about 10 days prior to due date. Then received confirmation for my online approved. Subsequently after due date I received all my docs back from the mail in and statement that my report was already done (online) Doing both does not derail anything.. My suggestion is do a report via mail asap.
  17. If you wish to do it in one day, personally I would use land border Nong Khai. If located in Bangkok flight to UT return will work. However as the saying goes ... Up to You..
  18. Same day! Yes I think a problem. Where are you planning to fly to. Where located in Thailand?
  19. Four visa entries all via air? What's wrong with land border bounce as alternative to entry via air. You could fly to Udon Thani or Vientiane and enter via land at Nong Khai.
  20. A visa run is exit Thailand and obtain a visa and reenter. No doubt you mean border bounce. Meaning exit Thailand and reenter visa exempt. Sometimes straight away. Which border crossing was this and how many border bounces has your friend made.

  22. No stated limit however with back to back visa exempt entries via air you will be refused entry and flown back point of departure. World of pain.
  23. First up very clear post outlining options I have never been sure regards option to obtain extension based on marriage OR dependant children. For some reason thinking that if you are married you need to apply for extension based on marriage. Some married guys might clarify.
  24. Travelled to Saigon every month for best part of 7 years. Most recent February this year. Read my previous post. The airline at departure will require onward flight if flying without a visa or reentry permit. Immigration at departure not an issue with or without onward flight. Immigration on arrival in Thailand also will not ask to see onward flight.
