Again don't follow. It's VERY easy to stay in Thailand for 4 months. Visa exempt entry + extension. Plus one border bounce along with extension. That provides 4 months and one more visa exempt entry via land still in pocket . That is 6 months right there. Also METV for even longer stay. Up to 9 months. Vietnam (just one example) previously had 3 month multi entry visa. That's currently not available. Come on.

How is that related to Thailand. So assume you have farang passport and can visit Oz NZ etc easily. You would also receive 90 days Japan visa exempt. Having Oz pp I need visa to Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. Zero option for visa exempt entry. For Thailand they provide visa exempt entry to 64 country. Don't understand some of these posts about what Thailand should do.

Yes I recall you posting this. Will be issue for me in November. I have never needed a TM30 for extensions at CW. In fact I have never even made one. Things can change as sadly happens. Turkey shoot.

Not everyone applying for an extension has a TM47 receipt. For that situation a TM30 will most likely be asked by immigration.

If it's one day you do not receive fine If it's a couple you are fined 500b per day . One short overstay would not effect PE Visa and zero issue for non O

First up you don't have a visa. Currently your have 30 day extension according to your OP. Attending immigration tomorrow you should be fine. It's already been explained to you. You do not obtain a 7 day extension. No such thing. You are given a leave Thailand within 7 day notice. I asked earlier...when is your exit date. You post very negative replies to folk trying to help and clearly your knowledge of requirements very limited.

Surely that is dreaming. Your 3 passports show your record of living in Thailand and extensions marriage.

And I don't know who would have such lack of planning. You have been given appropriate advice. The only visa it may effect is PE visa. Even then unlikely. Strange that you did not indicate the date of your flight out of Thailand. If couple of days most would just pay overstay fine upon flight out. Strange thread.

The onward ticket is virtually never an issue with Thai immigration on arrival. It's the airline carrier at departure that may request seeing an onward flight Rent a ticket from various companies on net work fine.

Each entry with a tourist visa or visa exempt can be extended once by 30 days. You are permitted 2 visa exempt entries at land borders per calendar year. Via air no stated limit, however continuous back visa exempt entries would lead to scrutiny and possible refusal of entry.

The list I was posting about was some crack pot immigration office namely Trat, that has a list of requirements that includes such items as photos in bedroom etc and even residence certificate for extensions based on retirement.. Are you receptive to advice? Just to be clear for others.. A border run means exit reenter visa exempt. That gives 30 day stamp. A visa run means you attend a consulate or embassy and apply for a VISA. You have advice from experts such as @BritTim and yet continue questioning advice provided.

Yes is stated in thread. Your extension will start from expiry of existing extension and not the date of application. Some chat in the thread concerns change of what the extension is based on. Changing from example based on retirement to based on marriage some offices will date start of extension from day of application.

Geez that's harsh. It's interesting that for example a ME Non O marriage visa remains valid even when divorce occurs. Also for extensions based on marriage the permission of stay does not become invalid upon wife passing. The odd one out is extension becoming void at the time of divorce. That is ridiculous. You require time to sort things out for next step, especially as in OP example of being under 50. And you call that "abuse of the marriage visa" Have a rethink. The "abuse of the marriage visa" is concerning fraudulent marriages. Nothing to do with genuine marriages failing, which BTW is over 50% in many countries.
