8.30am. Regardless of what time you arrive it's best to go to que desk prior to going downstairs to banks. Be aware sometimes que desk ask to see your application TM7 filled in. You also should make small deposit as same time. CW prefer bank book to be updated and show activity on day of application.

Use of agents was not asked for by the OP. The agent has nothing to do with posts about bank statement. Also your post about the gym friend that uses agent 15k is also off topic . At a guess that guy is using agent for extension based on retirement without any funds (money in bank method)

@hotandsticky may I ask regarding the statement (from bank) you posted where was that obtained.

Another good point. @wisemonkey you need to give complete detail of what visa you have. It must be based on marriage because Australia does not issue ME Non O based on retirement.

Good point. He could have a multi entry non O. That visa valid for 12 months I assumed METV. OP needs to clarify.

So you are aware of obtaining 60 day stamp by entering prior to expiry of current visa. Good. They will stamp you in for 60 and you can obtain 30 day extension. After that it may be possible to border bounce for 30 day visa exempt entry. That can be extended by 30 days. You may be able to do that twice. Spending time out of Thailand is good advice.

Assume you are that if you exit and reenter just prior to expiry of your METV you will be stamped in for another 60 days and you can obtain 30 day extension to that entry.. Regarding further stay in Thailand you could do visa exempt land border entries. You are allowed 2 per calendar year. You might be able to milk out 4 months from those.

Have never seen the photocopy of the "statement" in your OP. Kasikorn can provide you 12 months "Bank Statements" on day you apply. 200b. Bangkok bank take few days to do the same. Jomitien should accept 12 month bank statement showing monthly transfers from abroad. Perhaps immigration is asking for credit advice for some transfers to show they came from abroad.

It would be far more simple to do as you outlined. OP, in his other thread mentions extensive stays in Thailand and think recently coming off an ED visa. Most likely wants to avoid visa exempt entry. Especially via air.

No problem. Obtain the reentry permit at airport when you are flying out to UK. No need to make special trip to CW. Cost 1000b. For extra 200b they do the TM8 for you including picture.

Your reference to insurance comes from looking at a non O-A in the USA. You cannot obtain that in Thailand at immigration. @TheAppletons pointed out above. You can obtain a 12 month extension to your permission of stay. However that has financial requirements. Do you have a Thai bank account in your name only? Dont feel bad about not obtaining the non O-A as the insurance requirement continues for each annual extension. Many folk (retirement) have ditched the non O-A and obtained a non O. I don't follow. 30 day extension is very simple process if you have appointment at your immigration office. Basic requirements and just attend you immigration office. Simple process.

Sounds like lovely experience. Can you point me to a report of the "15 minute experience" Some immigration offices have appointments available for 30 day extension.

Forget it. Yet to be reported in positive sense. Also you would still need to attend immigration. White Elephant springs to mind.

I'm not aware of any. So apparently Belgium gives excellent service to it's citizens which is good to know. Australia not so.

What's with the secrecy "home country" My pp is Australian. Currently my application is with AU embassy Bangkok. I will report the details when (hopefully) receive the new pp. My guess 4-6 weeks.

That was some years ago. The letter basically gave Thai immigration permission to enter information from old pp. In recent years UK, USA,and AU have stopped providing that. Note I'm not referring to the income letter for extension purposes that the same countries discontinued.
